Soriano to the Dodgers?

Free agent Bill Mueller has narrowed his choices to the Dodgers and Pirates, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

If the money is at all similar, there's not much reason for Mueller to choose Pittsburgh over Los Angeles.

 

Okay. Say they get Mueller. Then they'll have Soriano, Kent, Furcal, Izturis, Mueller. Then all they need to do is sign Nomar and trade for Walker and they can be the all-IF team.

So, basically the Dodgers are about to acquire both of the middle infielders that Inside the Ivy said were heading to the Cubs in his infamous scoop article. Sweet! Maybe he talked to a source in the wrong organization.
