Yeah, I'm surprised that there are people out there which support Dusty still.

    Really? well everyone loves to jump on patterson for brain lapses, yesterday was the biggest gaffe you can have in sports. the one time the guy has to hit the ball in the air he can't if we would have had a runner on second there with no one out you know he wouldn't have hit the ball on the groung like he did there. :roll: Sure Burnitz has some lapses, remember the drop fly ball? But to call him worthless is a bit harsh don't you think? yeah it is harsh, but that play yesterday is just horrible yet he doesn't get the same treatment as patterson. thank god it wasnt corey that did that the good people of chicago would have lynched him. In all fariness though Corey has been consistently bad.

    I am a little confused, we are so worried about protecting ARam but our best hitter has the worst BA guy of the next 3 batters behind him. Why not go 3-8: Lee ARam Walker Burnitz Barrett Holla No, we would use ARam at the 4 to protect Lee. What I would like to see: Cedeno Walker Lee ARam Burnitz Hollandworth/Dubois Barrett Patterson

    OK, so we werent robbed. That replay angle shows it as foul. Burnitz blunder cost us though.

    Baker IS an idiot and overrated as a manager. It's that simple. How can he be overrated when everyone bashes him all the time? He was overrated before he was hired as the CUbs manager. But I think we as fans know now that he is not a good manager. I personally like managers who have won in 9 of the 13 seasons they have been managing. (I'm not saying some of Dusty's moves drive me nuts, but there are plenty in the game worse than Dusty) Hey that's your opinion. The way I see it is there are plenty of managers out there that are much better.

    I didnt see the game but by looking at the score I can tell you that we should not have given Maddux an option for a 3rd year. He's been brutal IMO. I also do not think Mitre belongs in the pen. He should be a starter, and if we can get something for him in a trade, I'm all for it.

    I would like to see either Huff or Dunn and maybe Kearns personally. Nothing else really interests me. Especially not Preston Wilson.

    Corey can steal more bases which is always good for a team that has only a couple that can.

    If I had a choice I would give the 9mil to Burnett and have him signed but that's another story. We should've never given Maddux an option year. 2 would of been ok.

    Dubois was pulled because his defense stunk. I'm a Dubois fan but even I was scratching my head when he missed that play.
