    Amen. The hard hitting press here is something akin to the "grilling" my 4 year old gets when his teacher asks him what he wants to be when he grows up....if Greene can't handle the STL "pressure cooker" he might as well not play.

    got any extra room in there ;) I wish...its a client thing...sometimes I'd rather watch the games at home in these situations...the powers that be frown when I go all "ARE YOU @#$#@% @#%#@#@#$#@ @#$%@# Kidding me?" when Lilly gives up a bomb or the 7th inning gas can comes out and walks the first 2 guys in a one run game...something about impressing clients...I don't get it...

    They were talking about him having social anxiety order this morning on the radio. I had no idea that he had an issue like that. Could be a huge part of the problem. Someone here at the office mentioned (have no idea of the source) but said that the "radio" mentioned that his teammates went to LaRussa because they were worried about him...he apparently "hurts himself physically" after going 0-4...if true, that's awful to hear. I feel for the guy.

    I think Freel is solid on the basebaths....I remember really liking him a few years back with Cincy...really, when giving up only Joey Gathright, there is no downside...if somehow we could get some of that STL pixey dust to rub off on him next time he's down here he could be a really valuable player.

    Also, on the health care side...has one of the top 5 children's hospitals in the country, Good beer scene...aside from AB, which I like to forget, Schlafly is a GREAT local brewery...Zoo and museums are all free of charge and really the crime is not nearly as bad as advertised. For some absurd reason many many years ago the city and county were divided into two separte "counties"...thus, the crime statistics that get all the national play really are concentrated and consider mainly the absolute worst parts of town...if it was calculated in a similar manner to the way Chicago or every other major city is, the crime would not be high at all.

    As an STL resident...I have to say, its fine. Nice little town, if that's what you're looking for. Its not a major metropolitan area, it in no way resembles Chicago, NY, LA or anything like that...but one can buy a home with a really nice yard in the best school district in the state for under $400K and its within 20 min of down town...you can buy a nice condo downtown for under 200K. Its really just a small midwestern town on steriods...its got major sports teams, but if you drive 10 min from the middle of down town you can literally be on a farm if you go in the right direction...its a great place to raise kids...(as long as you don't raise them Cards fans!)
