    I don't know the laws in California but I am sure this waste of space will be in Jail for an awful long time. He did kill three people as of now with a fourth in the hospital. I'm pretty sure he's completely screwed. I assume he will likely be charged with something like depraved heart murder, which is essentially 2nd degree murder. It's at the very least vehicular manslaughter, but if he was drinking then it will be murder. CNN is reporting the driver will be charged with manslaughter, felony driving under the influence and hit-and-run. Charges could bumped up to second-degree murder. Apparently it wasn't his first Drunk Driving offense either...

    Gamecast made that look really close to a straight away CF homer. Was it close? Warning Track Radio guy made it sound like he was at the wall...I can hear the fireworks go off outside my window so I know a little before it comes over the radio but didn't get to see it. Sounds like there was a great diving play by Greene to get the first out, and then the long fly to deep center to get the last out...it got the win, but it seems like the Cards still may have bullpen issues.

    Yea they're breaking out the magic pixie dust early this year. Al Hrabosky and Tim McLaughlin are stupid homer announcers. I am once again reminded about how much I hate them listening to those two say things like "OMG CARDINALS R GUNNA SCORE 100000 RUNS THIS SEASON!!1!" Yeah....I have Shannon on XM right now...can't tell if the Pirates are getting robbed or if they are routine flyballs that he's turning into "amazing catches" by their outfield.

    he's allowed 3 line drives in 4 IP, all for outs What makes it truly awful is that where my office is I can hear the crowd cheer and there is like a 6-10 second delay on the radio feed for x-m. So I know something good (awful) has happened a the game "before" it actually happens on the radio.

    Am I the only one that thinks this is strange as heck? How does a 20 year old "top prospect" end up with a 43 year old wife? Amalia Tabata Pereira, 43, was being questioned by Florida detectives in Manatee County, where the baby girl was found unharmed Tuesday afternoon, a day after she was taken from the clinic. Plant City Chief of Police Bill McDaniel said authorities are looking to charge Pereira with false imprisonment. She is the wife of Jose Tabata, 20, an outfielder and one of the top three prospects for the Pirates, who train in Bradenton, which is in the county where the infant was found. In a statement, Pirates president Frank Coonelly said they have received "no indication that Jose is believed to have had any involvement in this matter." Jose Tabata addressed the matter in a statement released by the team. "I was shocked to be told today that my wife has been arrested for kidnapping. I am hurt, frustrated, and confused by her actions," Tabata said. "I have and will continue to cooperate with law enforcement officials in anyway that I can. Until I have all of the facts, I cannot comment any further."
