Those are Hall of Fame numbers compared to Jones against lefties...I like the move...he's fast, can play defense, can hit lefties better than Jones (so can I), most importantly gets Pie every day at bats, and now that he's had a taste of the Bigs, a little more motivation to improve at the plate so he can be here every day.

Soriano Theriot Lee Ramirez Murton Barrett DeRosa Jones Marquis Jones hitting 8th shows that Blanco isn't starting despite the long game yesterday...I'm gonna go with the above line-up, possible switching murton and barrett. the Barret/Murton switch was the only one I had trouble with...unless he's actively trying to make a statement to Jones, him batting 8th has to mean no Isturiz as well (which is a good thing)...and likely no Pie...not as good,

Yes but lately it's been like 2 steps forward, one step back as opposed to last year where it was one step forward, 13 steps back. :D What is it though with the bats falling asleep as games progress? It always seems as if the hitters just stop after about the 5th inning. Yeah. It's like each bat comes with a little gas tank, and when it runs out, *poof* no more big hits :D It won't be the season one way or the other...but coming back and winning today would mean quite a bit to me...winning the series would mean a lot.

I didn't see it...but I was listening to the highlights on XM this morning and as soon as I hear "And Pierre is up with the ball and throws to the plate" I knew the run was going to score...kind of like giving the story away as soon as they said Pierre.

It worked. Wish it wouldn't have...I sat through all 15 innings of that crap...

One of? I haven't heard all of the broadcast crews. It wouldn't surprise me if they were the best though. I love listening to Vin Scully on the Dodger broadcasts. I guess it takes me back to my youth when he used to do the game of the week. No offense to Len and Bob, but there is no question in my mind that Vin Scully by himself is better than every other broadcast pair in the business.

I would pay twice that to avoid having to listen to Al Herbrosky every night.

YEah, I'm amazed it actually came through, once we went past week 2 I figured they were just stalling to tell us that they couldn't do it... I'm already a "triple play" customer, so I'll get mine for $119...not bad...I know I'm doing it before tomorrow's game so I can watch it....I am SOO happy this got taken care of. I was wondering about that. I already have Digital and HSI with them. Does that mean I get it for $139, or are the $139 and $119 prices only for new "double play" and "triple play" subscribers? I'd about think that we'd HAVE to get the lower price (however, this IS charter)...I can't imagine there are too many out there that would sign up for MLB-EI, who don't already have one or more services from them...I'd be a bit ticked off if I was told it was only for "new customers"

Having been told "yes we will have it", "No we won't" "Yes, we've already got it, go order it on your remote", "the deal is done were just working out the billing it will be available tomorrow or the next day" and "Sir, I don't know what you're talking about, I'm in (Insert SanPaulo Brazil, The Philippians, several other foreign countries), I've found getting a straight answer from Charter more difficult that digesting the federal tax code. At this point I’m beyond frustrated, we're almost a month into the season and I’m looking for someone at Charter to give me just ONE reason why I shouldn’t switch to DirecTV. Could you PLEASE give me a straight answer on the status of this package, if you'll get it, or even some just plain honesty and admission that Charter is refusing to go the extra mile to provide this service to its customers, the run around has been going on for too long.
