    A huge part of me hopes they clinch tonight just to get it over with and know they're in...but a small part of me wants them not to because if they don't I'm headed to Cinci tomorrow morning.

    Len said the game's been moved to Fox on Saturday. 3:55. Cubs.com shows the new time but shows it as being carried on both Fox and WGN. Fox just has to give up the blackout; they can't yank it from under us this close to gametime when it may be the clincher. On my tv guide, WGN does NOT have the game. Cubs.com shows the game on both Fox and WGN. The Fox Sports website shows it as being on Fox only. The local listings for my area on tvguide.com and the listings on DirecTV both show the Phillies game on Fox and the Cubs on WGN. All I can say is the game DAMN WELL BETTER be on WGN or I will not be responsible for my actions. I'd probably need to stay away from NSBB for awhile because I'd be using language guaranteed to get me banned. I really, really don't think it'll be on WGN...good luck with it!

    I chose the Braves though I don't root for them. I only like them because I became a baseball fan a year or so before the Maddux left and went to Atlanta. So, since I was able to get Braves games on tv, and really liked Maddux, I would watch them and hope he did well...just not against the Cubs. I haven't really paid much attention to them the last few years. I don't root for any other nl team.

    If Saturday's game means anything, I think my sister and I will go...it's supposed to be 8-9 hours from here...but I'll do it if the games important. And if there are tickets left.

    This is why... And, for a while, people were bumping old threads, ie - signings of players that caused a lot of arguments back and forth, and rubbing it in people's faces if they said something that wasn't favorable about said player now doing well.

    Jim Thome has always been a favorite player of mine. He seems to have a real good head on his shoulders. Congrats to him and his family.

    The storm hasn't hit where I'm at yet...hopefully it holds off long enough to get the game in.

    I can't speak for everyone else, but I enjoy watching preseason football just in anticipation of real football and to judge how good team are. I would never watch preseason football if it weren't leading up to the regular season. Isn't that preseason implies?

    Notre Dame is grouped in with the other independents. They don't get to be the only school with a forum of their own. So who are the Mods on that site, same as here? It's starting off as a smaller group of mods - myself, Raisin & Banedon to begin with. As the site grows, I'll add more mods. Of course, Modzilla is there, too. So, do I need to reregister with this site? yes
