I thought it was like a buncha guys at a pickup game against a decent ACC team. I'm starting to think I have enough talent to play at Indiana this season, and I don't have much talent.

I'm starting to lean towards rooting for Florida to win and get somehow hosed out of the #2 spot in the BCS, because that's about as likely a positive scenario as any. i may just end up rooting for the team whose fans aren't complete d-bags... problem is, they keep trying to out d-bag each other. Penn State and Holy Cross suck. OU stomped Penn State in the '85 Orange Bowl. ;)

Mizzou hasn't faced a defense as good as Iowa's all year. You think Iowa's defense is better than Texas'? I don't really think there's much difference between the Alamo and Holiday, and personally I'd rather play a Big 10 team than a Pac 10 team. I certainly thought Mizzou was Holiday Bowl-bound. I also think it's a better bowl. I've heard Oklahoma State has already accepted the Holiday Bowl bid.

If Texas and OU were tied in the BCS ranking what is the Big 12's 6th Tiebreak rule :-)? It then goes to head-to-head. I heard Texas beat OU 45-35 this season, but I'm not too sure...

I've heard about ESPN NEWS saying OU will be #2 and Texas will be #3 in the new BCS. Has anyone else seen this?

Purdue has a good team this year. They gotta make their 3s all season long, but if they do that, they'll win the Big 10. Prudue/OU going to overtime.

I do too. Too bad I don't think he will be at Texas long enough to become the next head coach. I truly have no clue to who will win the Heisman, and I won't be upset if Bradford wins it. i was thinking the same thing about mccoy. i'd love to be able to hate him but i just can't. he's the kind of guy you root for, even if he plays for your rivals 1 important Big 12 game down two to go. How are you feeling going into Stillwater? Despite the feeling that Texas will be dropping 1 spot on Sunday I am hoping for BCS destruction. I'm actually pretty nervous about it. The pokes are better than they usually are and OU never seems to play well there. They can beat us. They have a good team with a good offense and they are coming off a bye week. On another note, the Cowboys won't sell individual tickets for the OU/OSU game just to keep OU fans out of the stadium for this game. The only people that will be there will be Cowboy season ticket holders. Unfortunately, they have only sold about 45,000 season tickets. They won't be able to sell out one of the biggest games in their school's history against the only school they really care about beating.

Oklahoma vs. Arizona....err, UAB. OU-UAB. Ha oh I fogot about that. Think we should have no problem with BC, but Blake Griffin is disgusting. I think we'll struggle to guard him. Who'll guard him? Just pray that he gets in foul trouble early. Calasan is physically stronger than Johnson, so Calasan would probably be the best option to put on him. That's what I'm thinking, but Calasan is a hacker, I don't have a good feeling about him stopping him. Will see though I'm not sure Purdue will stop Griffin at all. I'm also not sure that will keep them from winning. If OU doesn't shoot well, the Sooners will get beat. OU is weakest at guard. I know nothing about Purdue, other than they're good.

I'd go with Crabtree, Bradford, and Coffman, but I'm biased. The O'Brien and Biletnikoff finalists all have great cases.

Outside of being completely delusional and the type to do what they accuse OU fans of being, I would mostly agree. I expect to see a lot of 45-35 and Boise State references from their fans on Saturday.

UW and Wazzu are as pathetic as advertised. I didn't realize Wazzu was dead last in both total offense and total defense.

Oklahoma is being pushed by Gardner-Webb, but it looks like the Sooners will win up 5 with about 19 seconds left. The Sooners have not shot well at all today.

DAMMIT!! Actually, it looks like slow games with low scores left the Big XII in basketball, too. A lot of teams are scoring and getting scored upon right now.

Texas Tech just won a game 167-116 against a D-II opponent.

how are you liking Jeff Capel? I think Capel is great. I've heard he burned some bridges with Coach K, but I'm not sure that is true. I think he will leave eventually for a better program where the fans show up to most of the games.
