OkSU fans tend to get their panties in a wad when you refer to anyone from Oklahoma as "okies". It's one of those regional slurs that originated during the Great Depression. I personally don't mind it, though. I will be cheering for the bright orange clad sheep shaggers this week, though. :banghead: The sad state of Oklahoma ;-) Yea, it sucks having to share a state with fail like this. What do they pay you to go there? I'm not too sure, but I'm pretty sure this was Mike Gundy's letter to recruits.

I can't imagine you'll lose to them. We'll see what happens. They aren't good at all, but I think it'll be interesting. The crowd will be a bit restless after two straight losses I'm sure, and if things start slowly, they'll be even more pissy. The game is sold out, but I'm hoping a lot of people don't show up. You have no idea how many people's away messages or facebook statuses were calling for Chase's head. I even saw one last night that said they wanted Chase Patton to start. I must've forgotten about all those blocks and tackles Chase Daniel missed last night. Y'all's OL needs to learn how to pick up stunting DLs.

So yeah, I was wrong. Happily. I counted on Vasher and Tillman missing the game. I counted on the defense not being able to stop Peterson and Berrian having a real good game. I counted on special teams making a good showing. What I didn't count on though was another excellent offensive performance. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop on the O-line and Orton to drop along with it. I'm not too sure I'd call the Titans a weak offensive team. The Titans can run, and apparently Kerry Collins still has something in the tank. Defense has to get better, though. With a bye week and 2 weak offensive teams (Lions, Titans) following, the Bears should have their chance to turn it around in a hurry. Goal for next 2 weeks is to get everybody healthy. I think if Harris, Tillman and Vasher are near 100%, this defense can get back to what the talent dictates it should be.

I was pissed when Minnesota drafted AD. I loved watching him at OU and I knew he would have success in the NFL if he stayed healthy.

Damn tulsa has a crazy offense and an easy schedule they have as good a chance as anyone to run the table Dear God the offenses in the state of Oklahoma are insane. All of them average 40+ points a game. All of them have QBs in the top 5 in the nation in passing efficiency. That Tulsa-UTEP game is now 49-28 at the half.

So did I. i think like half of america had that game right, byu was like a one point favorite. that really wasn't an upset. I thought Vegas had TCU the favorite.

yeah well i hope voters are intelligent enough to figure out that a neutral field loss against the #1/#2 team in the country is a lot better than a home loss to ole miss or a road loss at oregon state. I'm at an OU board right now and this is a guy's top 10:

I hope the pollsters vote like you guys and not like other OU fans. Some of the ones I talk to don't think OU will be in the top 10 in the next poll.

They were OU's opponent in the Rose Bowl in 2002.

I would like to thank Florida for propping OU up a little bit more. I was expecting more points out of the Mizzou-Okie State game. I was kinda wanting a 28-28 halftime score or something like that.
