  1. SD is up 17-7 on TB right now. Hope that holds.
  2. Most OU fans agree.
  3. I thought he was a true sophomore and not eligible for the 2009 draft. But he's a beast. Nope, he's a redshirt.
  4. To be fair, this is kinda a big deal. I mean he is really throwing Kelvin under the bs here. I know coach wanted them to stop doing drugs, but not if it meant us not winning games. Also am I the only one who thinks this is more than just pot? I doubt very much that Eric would have thought pot was such a big deal. Something tells me we're not talking about the same Kelvin Sampson that kicked off Jabahri Brown for getting arrested for weed possession during his OU days...
  5. He was most fan's top choice, but I pretty much expected this. If you're getting interviewed by Auburn already why would you come here? The only risk he's taking is that Buffalo regresses significantly next year (possible considering they were pretty lucky this year). As for realistic candidates, I could try to name a few but I've learned that's pretty futile when Pollard is leading the job search. Two years ago everyone was convinced Brain Kelly would be introduced as coach tomorrow and Chizik wasn't even on the radar even though the interviews were held in Dallas. You guys want Matt Eberflus off our hands? We'll even pay his contract for you. Take Brent Venables.
  6. U-Dub's going to be pretty good next year. They're going to go bowling and will probably finish in the top half of the Pac 10. They weren't good few years before this year, but they weren't classic Hoosier. I think they go 7-6 or 8-5 next year. I really do. UW didn't want to tackle or hold onto the ball when OU played them earlier in the year. Sarkisian needs to give them a severe attitude adjustment before they start winning games.
  7. Who are the teams in your 50's and 60's Division? Oklahoma, Georgia, Alabama, and Ohio State.
  8. This is actually very bad for the Big 12.
  9. I decided that Texas was going to be a pissed off team next season about 2 weeks ago. Next year's Red River Shootout ain't gonna be pretty for OU.
  10. Didn't Mt. St. Mary's make the tournament last year?
  11. the mind of cubbiebum i hate Texas Tech now because Shonn Greene was way more deserving of 5th place than Crabtree. I hate Jason White for getting more votes than Adrian Peterson in 2004. Cubbiebum, you do realize that Weinke was 28 (?) when he won the Heisman, right? I personally don't think Heupel deserved the Heisman in 2000, either.
  12. Meph just popped a tebowner.
  13. not to get all meph on you but until the missouri game we had been outscored in the 4th quarter and bradford had set on the bench for a total of 8 quarters. OU runs up the score in the first quarter. It's pretty easy to put up big pass numbers in the Big XII, because the conference only allows 9 players to play defense.
  14. That's because the game was just one-handed dunks. It was getting old toward the end.
  15. That's not so bad if you're in C-USA and you're just trying to win that conference. If UCF was in the, say... the Big East, it might be. But they aren't. So I don't think it's too bad. hes in a position where he doesnt need a stepping stone head coaching gig. he's more liked than muschamp as future HQs go and a LOT more than venables Saying you have a LOT more than Brent Venables isn't saying very much. Many OU fans want him fired. If he's that well liked, why didn't he go somewhere like Tennessee or Syracuse? Nevermind, you answered it above.

  17. I think UCF's stadium isn't more than 5 years old. That could be a good stepping stone for a career if the rest of the facilities are nice. That conference isn't too tough, either. I think you gotta be crazy to take the Miss. State job, though. I've heard the facilities at Miss State are horrible - otherwise I don't think it's that much worse than any other mid-level SEC program. It's more about who you're up against week in and week out. Miles, Nutt, Saban, Meyer, Petrino, Spurrier, etc. That and I've heard it's tough to recruit there.

  19. *signs up for head examination from Meph* Wait, that might not be a good thing.
  20. UMaine looked like they were a 4A high school team and played like a bad 4A high school team. No surprise OU beat them by like 30. I think Blake Griffin scored all of his points tonight on one-handed dunks.
  21. The big rumor before that announcement was that Oklahoma OC Kevin Wilson was going to take that job.
  22. Come on SI curse!!! I predict a non-life threatening career ending injury. It's not like he'll have an NFL career anyway Nah, I think he'll have a 4-turnover game, only because of the SI curse.
  23. Come on SI curse!!!
  24. Gary Danielson must have the same disease Meph has. These guys do too.
