  1. There is nothing more entertaining than watching linemen return fumbles/interceptions.
  2. A nice time-consuming, clock-eating drive would be nice here.
  3. Lions just kicked a FG to increase their lead 10-3 before the half against the Vikings.
  4. Rashied Davis joins in on the fun!
  5. BTW, that delay of game penalty...unacceptable.
  6. Lions just scored. 7-3 Lions with 2:17 left in the half. I think they get off the schnide this week.
  7. Congratulations Cedric. Hope you get a lot more.
  8. Running the ball is like making romance!
  9. Upset watch: Titans beating the Colts 7-0 after 1 quarter.
  10. Let's not settle for a field goal this time.
  11. That's the Hester I want to see. I'm still nervous about him returning punts though.
  12. Vikings take an early field goal lead against the Lions. 4:23 left in the 1st.
  13. To be fair, Hendry "Acted quickly" to snag Baker back after the 2002 season, and how did that turn out? So, I don't nec...blame Hendry for "moving at a snails pace" to find his next, and perhaps last manager as GM of the Cubs. Actually, they didn't move quickly. They held out for Baker. If I remember correctly, by the time Baker was hired after the World Series, the A's had already hired Ken Macha, the Mets hired Art Howe, the D-Rays had already corralled Lou Piniella, and the Rangers had hired Buck Schowalter. (Feel free to correct me if I am wrong on the timing of any of these hires.) The point is, Hendry was given a lot of credit in the media for waiting it out and getting his man.
  14. Now watch Girardi go to Washington and Brenly skeedaddle to San Francisco. I have to admit, I'd find it humorous to see Hendry strike out on every one of his named candidates.
  15. Nice throw Piazza! The Cards will be able to run all day on this combination.
  16. If the Cubs can re-sign Aramis while Pierre and Blanco walk (all things considered, you had a decent season Hank, which you're not likely to duplicate), then it will be like Christmas in October. My worry is that Hendry will drag his feet on the managerial search, giving Aramis no choice but to opt for free agency. Inexcusable, but I expect it at this point.
  17. I know this is late in coming, but cross Rich Donnely off the list of potential Cub third base coaches. Also, what was Willie Randolph doing leaving Guillermo Mota into hit with the bases loaded and 2 outs!?! And then Mota promptly gives up the lead the next inning?!? Cross Randolph off, too. <--- running a lame joke into the ground
