    You're playing Nevada. And completely crushing them. Don't underestimate Nevada... they did a great job against Graham Harrell last week (19 of 46). This week... not so much. And of course right after I post that they haven't punted all day... they punt. But our 3rd stringers have been in for awhile now, so it had to be expected eventually.

    Mizzou up 62-17 now in the 4th quarter. Our drives to this point have resulted like this... TD TD FG TD TD TD TD TD TD FG Unstoppable is a word that comes to mind to describe our offense.

    It's aggravating. Our pass defense needs some work. But at the same time... we also scored 38 in one half against Nevada. So clearly it's not a big deal.

    Mizzou making it look easy again. 24-7 early 2nd quarter. 24 points in just over 8 minutes of possession. Daniel's 9/11 for 179 and 2 TD'd.

    I know there are sample size issues, but Lee has a lower OPS than both Ronny Cedeno and Henry Blanco. Let that sink in. Our number three hitter has a lower OPS than our 25th man and our backup catcher. And yet we're still in 1st place. Incredible.

    It's pretty crafty, but I'd stop short of calling it genius. They see an opportunity and they're trying to make the most of it. I'm trying to think of ways it could backfire. How about if the Crew & Phils continue losing and the Stros wind up sewing up the WC before the end game? Then they would be denying themselves the rest at a time when they would value it more than easy wins. If the Astros have already clinched the Wild Card, and the Cubs have clinched the division... there will be no need to make the game(s) up.

    Hey Felipe, your team sucks. The Cubs basically just buried you and killed any playoffs hopes you had. That, and your inability to play defense in the second game. PS... you probably want to hold off on flipping your bat until you're positive that you've hit a home run. You look stupid when you do it and then fly out.

Soto with a runner on 1st and only 1st -- .271/.340/.448/.788 Fontenot with a runner on 2nd and only 2nd -- .313/.522/.688/1.209 This is with no outs, one out, and two outs. I'm not sure how much you can really gather from this info, but there ya go.

    It really is weird how often he talks about the Cubs. I just can't fathom Lou saying anything about the White Sox unless we're playing them that day.

    There are a ton of people selling tickets to tonight's game for face or less than face on craigslist.

    Bummer. I really hope they don't move a game to Monday... it won't be good to have to close the season with 15-16 straight games without an off day. Just move it to a neutral site like they did with the Marlins a few years ago.
