    That's a good point. It's not like we're throwing a scrub rotation out there or anything. Zambrano, Harden, and Dempster is better than Webb, Haren and Johnson. I'd still rather face the Dodgers though.

    I buy and sell tickets every year, mostly as a way to go to several baseball games for free. But there's no way I'd sell a Cubs WS ticket if I had one. No way. Unless of course Jessica Alba offered up something that I couldn't refuse. Then I might reconsider.

    Has anyone taken the time to compare the Dodgers and DBacks schedules to see who should win that division?

    Oh I'm definitely going up there, tickets or no tickets. I'm not about to watch something that magical by myself or with my friends in St. Louis.

    This makes me want the Dodgers to win that division even more now.

    Not to oversimplify things, but Fukudome just needs to adjust. He was doing so well early on because pitchers didn't know his strengths and weaknesses. They quickly figured those out though, and as a result he has struggled. I don't know how much longer he's going to continue to suck, but it's been months now... he needs to figure out it and he needs to figure it out soon. He seems like an intelligent player, you wouldn't think that this would be so difficult for him.

    This is tough. I want the Cards to beat the Brewers for the Wild Card. But no part of me can actually root for them to win a game.

    I still have 5 or 6 vacation days to use by mid-November... I'm definitely saving them for a late October trip up to Chicago. World Series tickets (if we get there) are going to be through the roof, but for something that only happens once a century, I'll pay an obscene amount of money to witness it.
