  1. no offense to you personally, but man am I sick of seeing similar statements almost everytime something bad happens to the Cubs. Ditto.
  2. maybe pinch hit today, probably in the lineup tomorrow Good. Thanks
  3. Hey have they said anything about Barrett and when he'll play again? I thought I read that he was supposed to be able to play in today's game.
  4. 8 pitch at bat for Maddux. Take notes, Blanco.
  5. Already? Man, it's way too early for people to be voting for All Stars.
  6. He'll be there for this year and next, if my memory is correct. I'm pretty sure he signed a 3-year contract, which seemed pretty odd at the time. Yeah, you're basically right. I just looked it up and the Brewers hold a club option for next year, but if they decline it then Miller can use his player option, for a lesser salary.
  7. Wow, that ball one was real close according to GameDay. Tight strike zone today, I take it?
  8. I didn't realize that Damian Miller was still with Milwaukee.
  9. Nice lineup from 1-5. Pretty bad from 6-9. Hopefully Ramirez has another solid day at the plate... we're gonna need it. What's the wind like today? Anyone know?
  10. Why am I not surprised to see K-town arguing in this thread? Good Lord man, get another hobby.
  11. Geez, as an athlete how can you let yourself get that way? Seriously, that's pathetic. Hit up a freaking gym.
  12. slacker Jerks. Last year he was 2-1 with a 4.80 ERA, 1.53 WHIP, and a .328 BAA against the Brewers. Regardless, he'll still dominate tomorrow.
  13. Now that I think about it, didn't Maddux struggle against the Brewers last year? I'd look it up, but I'm trying to prepare for a presentation I have in an hour.
  14. 7 innings, no runs, 3 hits, no walks, 5 K's for Maddux Cubs win 7-1 as Murton drives in 4 and Aramis Ramirez goes deep twice. You heard it here first.
  15. He was getting booed on Opening weekend at Wrigley - that's freaking ridiculous. But his comments to the media about the fans and comparing them to Twins fans were equally as ridiculous.
  16. I don't know. Don't kill me but, when I saw JoBo (surprisingly non sweaty and thin) I immediately thought " he's off the juice." Well, that's because the seed of doubt was planted by B&B that maybe he was using a few years ago. He never broke a sweat and wasn't all wild-eyed like he used to be. I think it's a combo of losing weight and getting off the greenies. I'm still not convinced. I want to know what happened to his velocity; he's suppose to be completely healthy now so why isn't he pitching in the 90's? Must be the lack of steroids.
  17. How did he do that? I missed the first 7 innings, so I'm geniunely curious. In the top of the 8th he double switched out Jones when he brought in Howry. Jones's replacement Mabry then messed up a fly ball down the line the next hitter. Yeah, I saw that. You can't blame the game on Dusty only because of that. From the last two innings that I saw, the bullpen lost the game, not Dusty.
  18. How did he do that? I missed the first 7 innings, so I'm geniunely curious.
  19. Show bunt, then pull away when it's right down the middle. God I hate when Neifi does that.
  20. Not a big deal; this sets up the DP.
  21. Why oh WHY does WGN have to keep getting scrambled on me?! Of all channels!
