While we may not like Glendon the baseball player, I've never seen any reason to not like Glendon the man. I think snide remarks about Glendon the baseball player right now are beyond pathetic. I hope he's okay.
When was that made? He was batting .325/.396/.578 with 5 HRs already by the end of April. What's his line now? EDIT: Nevermind, I looked it up. It's: .263/.300/.424 and he's still at 5 HR's. I admittedly don't know much about him, but I don't see anything from that line or the above scouting report that makes him anywhere near a top prospect among catchers.
How can a baseball stadium favor a hitter over a pitcher as far as walks go? That's all on the ump, the building the game is played in has nothing to do with it.
Why is Mike Mussina's name never mentioned? The Yankees aren't expected to pickup his 17M option for next year. I'd prefer him to every other FA pitcher out there.
Because Moore was brought in to pinch hit for the pitcher and stayed in the game after Aramis, I believe, got ejected in that inning. Why did Aramis get ejected?
Don't bother going to Manhattan for a K-State game either. I did that a couple years ago, and man that place sucks. The stadium is pretty lame, you can't drink in the parking lot, and the town in general pretty much blows.
