  1. What's his BABIP?
  2. Two people PM me asking if they're still available. I say yes, and don't hear back from either person. Weird. Anyways, these are still available. Anyone want them?
  3. Forgive me if this is being discussed elsewhere, but I didn't see it. Anyways, I just got home and read that Soriano left the game with an injury. What's the latest on that?
  4. What archives? Are you talking about something that's available online? Also, you get WGN radio in St. Louis? What part? I can never pick it up in West County.
  5. Okay, so you look at K/9 and K/BB and HR's allowed. Awesome. Hits, walks, and runs allowed are kinda sorta important too. Not really... Right, because whichever team has the better K:BB ratio wins. Nothing important at all about that "runs" thing. Are you freaking serious right now??

  7. You look at K/9 and K/BB and nothing else? Hahaha, okay.
  8. I'm going to the Saturday game, and if I go to the Sunday game I won't get out of Chicago til 5 at the earliest, which would put me home around 11 that night. I'll gladly go to the game if no one wants these tickets, but I think I'd prefer to get home at a reasonable hour since I'll have a crazy busy day at work the next day.
  9. Anyone want 4 bleacher seats to next Sunday's game against the Cards? If so, let me know here or via PM. Thanks.
  10. Damn, Rich Hill is awesome! ESPN Gameday has him at 93 pitches right now.
  11. I absolutely agree.
  12. I like Rich Hill, but let's not get too carried away here. To suggest that he's better than Zambrano is pretty bold, considering that he's had less than half of a season of success.
  13. Wow, just saw Piniella on SportsCenter... he was pissed!
  14. You might be able to convey your point better if you didn't come off like an arrogant jackass in every post.
  15. I have always been a big Mark Prior fan and supporter and have defended him on numerous occassions. But I am officially done with him. I'm tired of getting my hopes up only to find him hurt yet again. If he comes back healthy, great. But I certainly won't be wasting any time worrying about it.
  16. you didn't have to go through 11 pages and you know it. No but I had to click "next" or whatever several times. What's so wrong with starting a new thread for new topics?
  17. I wish more managers did this.
  18. Can we stop merging threads that are unrelated? Now I have to go through 11 pages to find where the discussion about this injury begins. Dumb.
  19. Keisler could have easily given up four more runs than his box score shows. Another two feet (I forgot who hit the ball) and the ball would have been a Grand Slam. He didn't pitch that well at all.
  20. Personally, I'd be furious that the Cubs left a starter in all year long that couldn't provide better numbers than that. I don't care if they have to promote Veal or Gallagher to make it happen. 5.40 ERA/1.60 WHIP is for AAA, not the major leagues. I'd be livid that the pitcher with the 5.40 ERA/1.60 WHIP wasn't DFA'd. Those are pathetic numbers regardless of the run support and "keeping his team in games" nonsense that would be spewed. Man, when you become so (for lack of a better term) angry? It seems like every post from you is just filled with ire. If we have a 20 game winner, livid would probably be the last emotion used to describe my feelings towards him.
  21. Lil Wayne? Seriously? I don't really listen to too much rap anymore, but Lil Wayne? Either he suddenly became good, or I have a very different opinion on what makes a good rapper. Out of these choices, I'd vote for Nas. Dr. Dre is probably my favorite though. Him or Eminem.
  22. If Miller stinks in his next outing aginst the Padres on Tuesday of next week, I wonder if he'll start that following Sunday against the Cards, or if Guzman (or perhaps Prior) will.
