    Is it really that big of deal? Bob was up and he was MIA, so Flames started it, and since the Cubs won hes starting another one. People take this game thread starter crap wayyyyyyyyyy to serious. Yes they do... But when you look at the possibility of starting a playoff game for the Cubs (and possibly a World Series game, LOL) it's tempting. It's just a thread on a message board, what's the big deal?

    Braun's done it before and never put his head down and just trotted. No one in baseball puts their head down and trots. Scott Rolen does actually. I don't think I've ever seen him admire a HR.

    It was pretty obvious that Marshall was wearing down. I wish we would have had a better replacement, but those 10 days were probably very good for him. Agreed. Today is big for him. With Trachsel sucking, if Marshall can pitch well I think their roles will be flipped.

    What exactly happened? I got home and the score was 6-2. Jones started the wrong direction on a ball to center, then dove and it got by him for a base-clearing triple with the runner thrown out at home going for an inside the park home run... although replays showed that his foot got in before the tag. So was it catchable? If he didn't run the wrong way, would it have been caught?

You obviously don't like him. Are you kidding me? Why don't you direct that towards him? You don't think his post that I responded to was directed at anyone in particular? No need to answer, I already know the reason.
