  1. Yikes....it's only 6 hours and 20 minutes for me! :D
  2. I never get to see the PAC 10 or Big 12. We always get the Big 10 and SEC.
  3. The TE from South Carolina just punished that DB.
  4. I blame MacPhail for this stupid out in his contract unless hendry has been trying to lowball him. Ramirez is going to go where the money is. A lot of people are awfully critical of MacPhail giving A-Ram that out...without knowing all the relevant information. The funny thing is, none of us know if he even would have been a cub the past couple of years without that clause in his contract, do we? True. We also don't know if he just added it instead of adding some extra cash either.
  5. Synder was fired last year wasn't he?
  6. Why do we let one game decide everything rather than the body of work? I don't understand what you're saying. I agree the whole season should be the thing that everyone goes by but losing in your 9th/10th/11th or 12th game after being undefeated knocks you out is what bothers me. Florida gets to play a tough W Carolina team next week. As far as I'm concerned, Florida, Louisville and WVU are one and the same to me. All three lost tough, close games on the road to quality opponents. If there was a fair way to pick the top 2 teams I'd be ok with it if this is the system we are stuck with. But, too much bias is involved and with that it'll never be fair. To be totally fair....Boise State beat Oregon St 42-14 while Oregon St. beat USC. Boise has beaten/played not one top 25 team though.
  7. Congrats to UK and his Kentucky Wildcats with a 6-4 record! Bowl Bound!!!

  9. Why is Cal a possible team while Louisville or WV are not?
  10. Florida 7 SC 7...in Florida. They can't destroy a 5-4 team at home but they are one of the best 1 loss team in the nation? These reporters just see what they want to see.

  12. Hendry thinks that this team needs a new third baseman that can bunt and move the (imaginary) runners over. That's what wins games.
  13. Woot! (Ignores the fact that most of the success came before I was born.) Well I saw it happen if that helps Raisin. It was easier to win back then but UCLA was always loaded with talent, a lot of eastern talent.
  14. I think he's just too lazy to pick up the pen and sign.
  15. Go Gamecocks!!!! 7-0 SC leads Florida.
  16. Your school resides in a conference worse than the Big East this year. True - the Big XII North is a joke. I didn't know the Big XII North was it's own conference. The Big XII is much better than the Big East. And they have beaten who to prove that?
  17. I thought that the Northwestern kids knee was down before that fumble.
  18. Is that really true? I'm putting my checkbook away then.
  19. I'm sure the experts will still rank Auburn over Arkansas in the polls.
  20. Maybe Auburn should play Buffalo 3 or 4 more times instead of a real team. Quick note on Buffalo, they won't play Syracuse because Auburn and Wisconsin offer them too much money to play them. I wonder why.
  21. I don't see why the second team doesn't get a chance to sign him if the first team that wins the bidding doesn't. For example...if Boston offers 10 per year for 4 years and he says no, the Yanks have to offer at least 20% more than Boston to get him to make it fair so the player doesn't just sign with the team he wants to. Because agents would use this as an under the table way to make the player a FA. A team like the Yankees could low ball the bid knowing they would just offer the player more money. But say the Yanks had 5 teams ahead of them. If Boston offers a 4/40 they would have to offer a 4/80 unless my math is wrong. The second team has to offer 20% more and it goes to 40 to the 3rd and so on.

  23. It's funny you wrote that because it includes our worst teams too, unlike the Big 10 or the SEC and I still like our chances to win 4 or more of those games because if you look at what ACTUALLY has happened on the field Syracuse has beaten Illinois and UConn has beaten Indiana. I'd love to have a Big East/Big 10 or SEC thing like that like they did in hoops.
  24. Syracuse beat Illinois with Juice Williams and How did Ohio State just score 17 on them? Look, Ohio State is a very good team but the idea that the Big East is a secondary conference is just wrong. Also, Louisville has a Heisman Trophy candidate RB out since the first game if you want to look at what if's when it comes to players not being there.
