  1. Another Vickerception!
  2. Zoom. First down!
  3. Vickerception!!!
  4. Almost had him. Just a tad too high. At least he saw the mis-match.
  5. Another first down. The Bears O is completely different when Grossman is in. That could be trouble for future opponents.
  6. Another first down for the Bears. Another good pass from Grossman.
  7. Zing! What a nice pass from Grossman.
  8. Dang, nice punt. Nailed it at the 2.
  9. Good Defensive series by the Bears.
  10. Looper agree to $13.5M, three-year deal with St. Louis Cardinals.
  11. Didn't see a thread about this. If so, my apologies. Remember this guy? Of course you do. from rotoworld.com Paul Bako - C - Dodgers Paul Bako has reportedly agreed to a deal with the Royals to back up John Buck. This comes after Bako and the Dodgers couldn't overcome a $50,000 difference to keep the catcher in Los Angeles. It's thought that the Dodgers will bring in Sandy Alomar Jr. to play behind Dioner Navarro.
  12. Goodbye Macias and good riddance I say! *as J.R. on WWE* Hey hey hey, goodbye, oh hell yeah!
  13. Well, if they want a pitcher, they can have Rusch. Heh heh.
  14. I'm sure KSU will miss Snyder a lot. He came in before the 89 season and the Cats were arguably the worst team in college football, and less than a decade later, he was one Texas A&M OT run for a score of going to the national title game. What a great job that guy did with the Wildcats. Agreed. It'll be interesting who Kansas State will name his successer. My money would be either on Gary Patterson (TCU) or Brent Venables (OU's D-Coordinator)
  15. I'm sure most of you guys may have heard about it, but this Saturday will be Bill Snyder's last game as a head coach for Kansas State Wildcats, as he just announced that he will be stepping down at the season's end. Another Hayden Fry protege retires.
  16. I was hoping the Cubs could had played this thing smart. I was hoping they would not either re-sign or sign a bunch of old guys who can’t even remember their primes. Nobody wants Neifi Perez. In other words, I was hoping the Cubs would sign players who fit into the plan — get a little speed, a little defense, a guy who can get on base, a solid veteran pitcher who can eat up some innings and take some pressure off the kids. So much for that eh?
  17. Man, that one had Dekringer written all over it when the play was developing. That's what I was thinking....
  18. Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winnar!
  19. Well, he sac fly. I guess he did help out, in a way. *shrug*
  20. Wow. Is MLB trying to start a WS controversy or something? :-k
  21. Yeah, I would have gotten mine in, but unfortunately, the monthly payment thing kinda blows. Of course, my time will end in November, but then, I'm rarely on during off-season. You'll get a check from me soon when spring training starts up. :D
  22. Dang it! Dang shame that the WS won't last long to November. That's when my paycheck will come in. 20% off? That's awesome.
  23. Just like it was hard to overcome Prior and Wood... Hey! That was bad memories. :(
  24. My thoughts exactly. Sounds crazy, but I think I'd pulled a Bobby Cox a la playoffs in 1985 and maybe intentionally walked Pujols to keep that from happening. I'm shocked they pitched to him. I wouldn't let their best player beat me if I had a chance to clinch. I would have taken my chance with the next batter. I knew if Edmonds was going to get on base, that Pujols was somehow going to either tie up or hit the home run. And that being said, I would had pretty much give him a IBB and take my chances on a iffy Sanders. (his back injury that is, since I'm not sold that he's back to 100%) Pujols is the person you do not want to mess with during clutch situations.
