Trust me, I seen them play in person and TV multiple times, and they are, indeed, bad. But hey, that's what we get for having a cheap-assed owner. By the way, that is a AL record UMF. The NL (& MLB) record is 24 by the 1899 Cleveland team, who lost 24 straight. Allard Baird got the dreaded "vote of confidence" in the KC Star awhile back from Daddy Wal-Mart. I can't wait to hear Baird spin this season. He'll probably talk about how he admires the team's "consistency." Daddy Wal-Mart needs to do one of the following: 1) Can the entire Front Office/Scouting Dept and start over. 2) Sell the team to somebody competent. 3) Contract and turn Kauffman into a skateboard park. I've been to at least one Royals game every year since they've existed. This is worse than the Chiefs losing bender in the late 1970's & early 1980's (if that's possible). One ray of hope: In KC, when one team has been wretched, the other has been great. The worse the Royals are this year, the better it bodes for the Chiefs.
