  1. I don't think Moose would be too "nervous" aganist his former team. I think he'll be pumped up, so I wouldn't worry about that part. What I would be worried is that Carolina actually shut out Plaxico Burris. I think the Panthers might double team Moose, so someone else will have to step up. Other than that, I agree with your list.
  2. As for the final game for today, I'm picking Steelers over the Bengals.
  3. Make sure that you get Steve Smith covered as possible. The guy tore up that Giant's secondary.
  4. The NY Media will be having Eli for breakfast tomorrow. Good thing Eli can't read. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v39/SwedeCarlson/Funnies/Football%20Smack/manning.jpg
  5. Just for grins I decided to take out the 20K game and recalc his number: #2 - 10.358 - Kerry Wood Still #2. My point is, Kerry's detractors say he's never won 15 (yada yada), and only made a name for himself with that 20K game. They're wrong -- he made a name for himself because he can strike out guys like there's no tomorrow. I'm a huge Kerry fan, always have been, and very very glad he's still a Cub. I'm also a Kerry fan, and I'm glad that he's a Cub. However, it's really frusterating to see him getting injured over and over and over though.
  6. They could still go for a retractable roof if they decide that route. *shrug*
  7. That's what I said. A helmet-to-helmet penalty went uncalled for.
  8. Jeez, apparently alot of guys are having issues when it comes to protecting the football.
  9. No idea at this point, but it likely won't be a top prospect. And nothing is ever done with the Orioles until it's done. I guess I can understand that it won't be a top prospect, since Corey doesn't appear to have much of a trade value. While we're still talking the word "trade", has there anything coming up on Todd Walker? From what I've been told, the Cubs have seen more "action" on Patterson of late than they've seen on Walker. I guess in a way that, for now, that it appears that Walker will be with the Cubs in 2006. Much appreciated Bruce.

  11. Of course, but not all the blitzes were coming from the weakside. There were some that came pretty much everywhere. Again, if a QB can complete 75% of his passes aganist a aggressive SC defense, that's just good enough.
  12. It may be awful scheming with the blitzes, but you have to give credit for Young to see the blitzes coming, and the TX O-Line to pick it up, along with their WR's and TE adjusting to it.
  13. yeah i saw that too. Me and my buddies pretty much said the same thing about him. USC's offense did a great job against Texas' defense, but they did not lose the game. Vince Young stepped up and won it. Why couldn't Leinart just man up to Texas and say they played one hell of a ballgame? Man, and I thought Leinart was a decent guy. Although Young was being a jerk for saying whose the real Heisman. Bush is. He won it. Come back next year and win it. If the Heisman voting ended tomorrow, I would bet that the race would be much closer than it was in December. of course, heck, Young would probably win. But it isn't tomorrow. I know, but honestly, I think Young is the better player than Bush is as of this point. Dude was personally responsible for 200 yards rushing with 3 TDs on the ground and 260+ yards passing with like 30 out of 40. A 75% completion percentage, aganist a solid USC defense at National Championship game. Not to mention that Texas was trailing at the point.

  15. Here's the kick! It's up! It has the distance... No good! No good! Sorry, just had to do it. :D
  16. I think so. A running back who actually can throw the ball. It adds more flavor to the offensive package, and it does give some defensive coordinators/defensive players some trouble.
  17. *Slips* Yep the TD does it, nice game though. Umm, you're dumb. Man, I forgot about that one. Glad that it didn't slip. It made the game even more entertaining.
  18. Wow, that is the most crappiest call/throw I can think of.
  19. Bush just almost took it all the way!
  20. 2 point good. A wasted time out by USC just for the 2 point conversion.
  21. Man, WTF is USC calling a TO for? That hurts.
  22. Man, almost picked off. If I was Texas, I'd try to get the first down, so that you can have new set of downs.
  23. Man, that missed PAT and the missed FG looms large.
