sorry guys, but if you want something interesting to do with your time, i highly suggest going to truffle's website and clicking on the 'booed' things. then on the olive garden one. it's massively long, but damn well worth it. great rant, or greatest rant of all time? i like olive garden, but may never go there again just to support that rant.

can we get this moved to the minor leagues forum? not that i don't like to read the daily minor league box score threads, but that's kind of like searching through a game thread for a jacque jones strikeout - tedious. -
i'm not going to jump up and shout or clap at all, but i will think about how nice it must feel to be a major league player and achieve such a feat.

i watched the second half of the madrid game and have since watched the replay on tv. i never thought madrid was going to lose but i was thoroughly impressed with their second half. granted, their opponent was garbage, but when madrid started to push forward you could tell it was only a matter of time. j-shils, did you watch it on gol tv? or did you watch it elsewhere? i mentioned it previously in this thread but the announcer on gol tv was hysterically (as usual). gol tv. that guy would be annoying as hell if he wasn't so hilarious. he kept talking about how the other guy needed to shut up about tennis players and the guns of navarone(sp) and made little bird noises whenever madrid got close. i loathe beckham and am a big fan of ronaldinho, and was pretty upset at the outcome. great game, even though it wasn't as close as the score said. didn't madrid have the ball somewhere near 70% of the game?
