As soon as cbssportsline.com adds the players in the free agent pool, then anyone can claim the players subject to the waiver claim rules (i.e. players will be unavailable for a number of days and the waiver order will be used - worst record first).

My last two losses have been by close scores...and it is because my hitters have sucked all year...my pitchers have carried me well.

As Mooch said, this has been an interesting start to this year's fantasy league. First, I would like to thank Tim for keeping with the commissioner role despite his busy schedule. Second, welcome to the two new managers. Third, for those who have issues with the scoring, I have them too; however, I look at it this way, "them are the rules". Let's adapt and play with them and have fun. I saw the quirks last year and I took advantage of it and won it last year. I came late into the party last year, missed the draft, and got stuck with players I did not like. So I made trades (a lot of it), made waiver pick-ups, and made it my team. I had a blast. Fourth, I missed the draft again this year and had the same issues with almost everyone regarding the ranking. I think I got Micah Owings and Glen Perkins for my second and third round picks - I was ticked off but you got to move on. Fortunately, we lost two managers and I got a reprieved and was able to pick up a couple of nice players. Finally, let's have fun. Like I said, I had a blast last year trading and corresponding. It made the 2006 baseball season better because the Cubs certainly did not make it fun for me. Again, thanks for all you work Tim. I would not hope you abandon your post as commissioner because there are a few complaints.

What has been decided on the pitching stats? Are we limited to the number of starts per week or innings? I remember this was a huge issue last year. Thanks.

I am trying to get younger since the auto draft did not go well as I expected. Mind you I am not going to give Manny away but I am willing to trade him for some younger players.

I feel the same way...it was an awful draft...I did not get any players I pre-ranked even though some of them where not picked when it was my turn to draft...

On the league site I think it said 3/25 @ 4pm eastern? Either one works for me. That should be fixed. I adjusted it because of someone earlier in the thread saying that they worked on weekends and that evenings would be better. I may not be able to make draft evening so I will pre-rank...
