I'm concerned about it because getting pressure from the DLine doesn't seem like something that typically develops over time. You've either got the strength/speed to impose your will on the line, or you don't. Not likely to shift very much. I think -- hate to say this -- Peppers is solidly a player in decline now. Why do you hate to say that? It was pretty obvious he's at the end of his career as a Bear; I don't know why this is some kind of revelation. So you expected him to be this much of a non-factor so far? Yes he is aging and at the end of his deal. I still hope for more production especially since this Bears team could be very competitive.
Jay is a golden god and those who criticize him are uneducated heathens who are beneath us all. Love me some Jay Cutler especially with competent coaching and personnel around him.
How can Onobun make this team? Is he a great blocker or something? He's probably the second best receiving TE despite the drops. Great athlete/project, and does well in practice. As raw put it, he clearly can get open. Plus he has an awesome name.
Indiana scored 73 points tonight, a Memorial Stadium record and the most points scored in a game overall since 1901. Yes, it was Indiana State but it beats the hell out of only beating ISU by 24-17 last season. Improvement! \:D/
I think this thread should be advertised and linked from the Transactions forum as a sticky or whatever. I had no idea this thread existed until now. I'm not just saying that because my thread over there got locked, I think it would be useful.
