Not completely. i still don't believe in refs deciding games. it's easy to say refs are calling against your team when you're biased for your team. same goes with people saying announcers hate their team. they only hear the bad things about their team and not the other I want KU to win. So how am I being biased? all i'm saying is that if SIU loses, it will be due to missed layups, not the refs and there's no guarantee they lose if KU keeps shooting free throws like the Illini (sorry, couldn't help myself) So the game wouldn't be different if they waved off Julian Wright's dunk in the first half and got the goaltending call when Tatum was fouled in the second half? In such a close game, that could have been the difference - SIU isn't afforded the chances that KU was. Meh, SIU has had plenty of chances tonight. Missing two layups at point blank off that one steal was probably the turning point against them. No doubt, but it's a different game if the refs make the right call on those two plays. It's a different game if SIU makes more open shots and layups too. *shrugs*
