    Big Z pitched plenty of awful games early in the season when he did not have the contract extension in hand so no, I can't see any correlation between a 0-2 record and the extension. This bad string of starts began prior to the extension. Let's face it, Big Z is a little wild at times and never is going to be a consistent shutdown guy for an entire season. But he's still pretty good overall.

    The Cubs seemed to take advantage of opportunities in the first two games of the series. You are talking like they just lost the series. They have won 5 of 7 and if they win every remaining series then the NL Central title will be won with some margin to spare.

    Yay. That is the one thing I love about putting Bonds on my team in MLB The Show, half the time he gets walked intentionally with nobody on base. It never fails to entertain me. :)
