    Wasn't this a guy IU was after? I think Crean went after him pretty hard but I never read anything that led me to believe he was all that likely to end up at IU. From what I recall Ferguson was letting his dad handle the recruiting process for him so it was a bit of a mystery as to what was going to happen.

    Randy Wells is awesome. I never really believed he would keep pitching well for this long but here we are.

    My initial reaction is disbelief but hey, no harm in letting him audition for that role in the fall league and see what happens. I mean if it DOES work out it would be extremely nice to have a hitter of that caliber at 2B. I agree with OMC he would need to lose some weight to make this work.

    Do you even follow baseball? Go look at their stats and their contracts and try and type this sentence again with a straight face. Gregg has an ERA under 4 and he kicked ass in June and July. Suddenly he has two bad games and all this kneejerk [expletive] comes out. People like you are an embarrassment to our fan base. Try and stay level for at least one day, please.     Aramis got hit on the elbow by a pitch but he stayed in the game until he ran around to 3rd base and he was acting weird like he was going to pass out. I don't think he left the game due to his HBP ouchie. Maybe he was just dehydrated or something.

    I found out my boss hates Steve Bartman and blames him for the whole thing. Kind of awkward because I told him about this documentary and started to laugh about it and carry on into the obvious "screw you Alex Gonzalez" rant but he totally went the other direction with it. Geez. :shock:
