  1. Sounds like they were playing head games to me. Only way to get past that is to not lose your head.
  2. Well in the case of IU a lot of those illegal calls were made from the assistant coach's home phone which he conveniently never turned in phone records for. But yeah tracking calls on the university issued cell phones should be no big deal. Speaking of university issued cells, did anyone else see the story about Mizzou? They sold off some old cell phones and one of them still had text messages sent and received by an assistant coach stored in the phone. :-)) Now there wasn't anything improper contained in the messages but still, wow. It just cracked me up.
  3. http://blogs.heraldtimesonline.com/iusp/?p=4741 Amusing. Sampson is scum, this changes nothing in that regard. It is just amusing to see the NCAA contemplating change this rule because "Monitoring phone calls has become too burdensome for compliance officials." Well gee, I imagine every aspect of compliance monitoring is probably a pain in the ass but that doesn't mean you stop doing it. I'm sure tracking down illegal payments to athletes is a pain too. lol
  4. The Bears play tomorrow?
  5. I really hope IU can keep it together mentally coming off a real tough loss in Ann Arbor and at least show up for the Ohio State game. It would have been so awesome to head into that game at 4-0 with a historic road win in the bank. ](*,)
  6. we got another milton bradley run him out of town plz hes white though so its funny Plus he actually produces in the clutch.
  7. I'm assuming he has a picture guide.
  8. Ron Turner thinks that last play call by Seattle was horrible. :-))
  9. Lance Briggs killed Bowman. Vasher time. FML. :banghead:
  10. Eh...go for it from here. They'll be in awful field position if we don't get it. I'd say go for it too but I don't trust Ron Turner to call a good play. Good call Ron! Wow. \:D/

  12. Yeah and he won the challenge. So...........
  13. Yeah that is pretty funny. But I think the fans do it for the fun of it anymore. I mean it is Houston football, it isn't like they have a ton of tradition and pride to draw upon.
  14. I think maybe I'm starting to get over the IU loss today. That was so brutal. To play Michigan that close at Ann Arbor and fail to finish the game.........it just took a lot out of me. I just hope those kids realize they can be something special this season, clean up the penalties and red zone offense and win a few Big Ten games. Going bowling again would be special.
  15. Wow I had given up on that game. I figured ND would have it wrapped up by now. In other news Northern Illinois lost to Idaho today. Idaho>Notre Dame? Sure! \:D/

  17. Yeah it is real easy for the Michigan fans to blow off the ending to that game and just say IU should have converted more often in the red zone. Sure. Guarantee if it was YOUR rear ends having a game essentially ended by that kind of call you would be singing a different tune. But nah Michigan won so it is all good. Those are just the breaks and all that other BS.
  18. All I'm going to say about this whole situation is that if Hendry really does intend to trade Bradley then the suspension is a crap idea because why reduce his potential value like that? It makes no sense. Also I have a hard time believing the only reason he was suspended was for those remarks about the 100 years thing. It has to be a cumulative thing. If not, then........whatever. I mean Jim had to know he was signing a jackass. And I don't believe Milton is any bigger of a jackass now then he was before he became a Cub. So going forward, honestly the question to me is whether the guys in the clubhouse feel like he is a distraction to the team or not. If they are willing to put up with him, so be it. Keep him. If not, get rid of him.
  19. Well that makes no damn sense. There are thousands of outstanding baseball players, football players, and basketball players who are playing pickup games because they couldn't accept the discipline necessary to fit into a team situation and follow some simple rules like play hard, shut up, show up, show up on time, and show respect your team mates and coach. i don't think wal-mart is going to put someone angry by the doors to greet patrons with a hearty "[expletive] you" Actually that would be pretty awesome.
  20. I never believed it to begin with. They are a good team, just not a Top 10 team. I kind of suspected they might lose tonight. Just a hunch. Of course the game isn't over yet.
  21. I know nobody will agree but I think it is possible Indiana could hang with Michigan for a half or so.....if IU can run the football that is. And Middleton/Kirlew need to get pressure on the QB.
  22. I think the only way a person could switch teams would be that they weren't emotionally attached to the Cubs to begin with. When I get mad at the Cubs, I just stop watching or paying attention to baseball for a few days.....or in the case of this season, maybe even weeks at a time.
  23. Carlos never did give Milton a black guy. :(
