That's kinda what I was thinking. Well the Bears at least made some significant changes in the off season so there is the off hand possibility that they may not suck. :D
I've been following the Cubs since 1986 (which obviously isn't long in the grand scheme of things) and certainly they have had plenty of bad seasons in that time frame. I think what sucks about the 2010 team is just being 2 years removed from a Cubs team that dominated the NL until October. Last season was a stumble but the team was at least still in the race entering August. So to now be pretty much one of the worst teams in the NL........it is just rough to fall that far. Granted nobody had high expectations for this season but I thought the Cubs could at least be a .500 type of team and maybe keep some false hope alive into July or August. But instead here we sit with a bad record and the tough part of the schedule hasn't even come around yet. I mean even in the Cubs worst seasons they could still beat teams like Pittsburgh.

Emmanuel Negedu will not be coming to Indiana. He was cleared by doctors but the administration decided against allowing to play basketball for us. And in other news Walter Offutt has been offered a scholarship by Ohio U. and appears to be leaning that way now rather than walking on at Indiana although a final decision has not been made yet. So I am having a hard time thinking of anyone else worth adding for 2010. Oh well. Edit - I forgot we are after this kid: http://scouthoops.scout.com/a.z?s=75&p=8&c=1&nid=3789660
