  1. I'm so confused. :?
  2. I have to hit the sack after this post but it has just been on my mind.............CSN is kind of recapping the entire playoff run..........to me, that Game 5 vs Nashville still stands out. Think back to that, everyone was gripping about getting upset in the 1st round. The Blackhawks were down 4-3 with roughly a minute left in Game 5, in danger of falling behind 3 games to 2 in that series with Game 6 in Nashville obviously. When Kane tied that Game 5 to force OT, that was just crazy. Then Hossa coming out the penalty box to score the winning goal in OT..........man.
  3. Wow after seeing the CSN locker room coverage I see that I am actually drinking the same shitty brand of champagne as the Blackhawks. And they were mixing it with Bud Light and Bud Light Lime in the Cup. LOL.
  4. i heard it on my way home. i don't know a lot about the blackhawks radio announcers, but it was pretty damn close to how i would envision ron santo reacting to a cubs world series. ...dropping dead from shock? hopefully ron santo lives until he's 178 years old so that he can experience a cubs world series victory. So in other words you are an optimist?
  5. When Philly tied the game at 3-3 I was so shitty. My heart dropped.
  6. It's been pretty funny so far. Their coverage is so low-level. Yeah it sounds like I am missing out, lol.
  7. This cheap bubbly I bought at Walgreen's tastes awful. Who knew? :-))
  8. Y'all watching WGN? I been checking out the CSN postgame.
  9. Coming in 2nd place, drinking it off a hooker's ass..........wait that whole syphilis thing.....nevermind. :-))
  10. Hmmmmmm that is very tempting. And I've been drinking too, oh [expletive]. Bye bye $50. Oh and I've been chilling my own bottle of champagne lol. Time to break it out. :yahoo:
  11. JR breaking down and crying on the NBC postgame was [expletive] epic too FYI. Don't see too many genuine moments like that.
  12. I love you too dexter. Wow this is weird. :-)) :rotfl: :clapping: Wow I had to rewatch that ending a few dozen or two dozen times. It was so bizarre. The Flyers were on the attack, I was scared. I can admit it. Kane throws one at Leighton, I thought it was caught, waiting for the faceoff. Blackhawks start randomly celebrating. lol whut? Oh [expletive] we [expletive] won!!!!!!!!! :yahoo: Incidentally one of the Blackhawks assistant coaches was a head coach here in Fort Wayne for one year (JOHN TORCHETTI). The minor league hockey is huge here in the Fort so an ex-Komet coach being part of this just adds another layer of awesomeness to it.
  13. Man if Hossa had buried that shot..aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Okay. Well nobody said winning this Cup thing was easy.
  14. You know it is weird but that penalty on Hossa might have been the turning point.......the last straw. The Blackhawks just seemed to get even more fired up by that. But whatever, they need to finish this for it to mean anything.
  15. The 1985 Bears are the last professional team to win a title amongst my collection of teams. I'll admit I stopped following the Blackhawks for a while there...........after the JR and Belfour years........things sucked. Once they stopped making the playoffs it was hard to stay connected, at least for me. Call it fairweather, call it what you want. Growing up the hockey was almost always on cable and my parents never had cable so it was hard to get that close connection to the Blackhawks in my formative years. But starting last season, I got back into it again. I watched all the playoff games, I was pumped for it. I feel like I know the team again. And this season of course I've kept an eye on them and I've been pretty stoked for the playoffs since the first puck drop. So yeah.......if they can finish this, it will feel like a special moment to me.
  16. Blackhawks just have to keep this pressure up. They have Philly on the ropes, anyone can see that. Another 20 minutes of that kind of pressure = profit.
  17. Seeing the Cup officially arrive earlier, oh boy. Goosepimples! Finish them! :clapping:
  18. Just keep the pressure on Leighton. He will crack sooner or later.
  19. The refs are calling things tight both ways tonight imo. The hawks just have to be a little smarter. That isn't to say I agree with every penalty called, I'm just sayin' that is how it is going to be tonight. Let's just be sure to net that next wide open rebound eh?
  20. Obligatory Marian Hossa segment - check
  21. Frustrating end to the period but if the Blackhawks play that way the next two periods no amount of officiating will save the Flyers.
  22. :stickman: Time to get the party started.
  23. I'd say Rudy is no more at fault than Gerald Perry and Von Joshua were.
