Lou has been making mind boggling decisions for what, 3 seasons now? 2007 I don't recall as much but even in 2008 when we were winning a ton of games I remember being amazed at some of his moves. The fact this team stinks just magnifies the bad decision making to a higher degree. It isn't all his fault and firing him won't cure all but yeah I won't be sad to see him go. If they fired him right now I would not complain.
Yeah I'm pretty amazed at all these strong reactions towards Ricketts taking a vacation. Owners don't run day to day baseball operations. They do what rich people do..........keep tabs on their stocks, roll around in piles of money, spend piles of money..........this irrational ranting about him going to Africa is just absurd.
Apparently the Bulls and Pacers have talked about a Hinrich and 17 for the 10th and a player. The rumor I read said TJ Ford would be the guy the Pacers would send in return.
I'm not really a soccer fan but the World Cup is special enough to get me to watch the games and at least feel like I care. I lost my job right before the 2006 World Cup started so I ended up watching a lot of those games and I found I could get into World Cup games. Every 4 years is about right in terms of caring about soccer. At least for me it is. :good: Besides the World Cup the only other time I really follow soccer at all is if IU is in the college Final Four. Which they haven't been there lately but when I went to school we got there quite a bit and yeah I'd watch and get a little pumped about it. Just a little.
Man I had to do a double take at the MWL AS Game when they introduced this guy: http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?pos=P&sid=t582&t=p_pbp&pid=543803
I'll be attending this game tonight. \:D/ Parkview Field is a very nice looking ballpark, this will be my first actual game that I will attend there. Looking forward to it. Hopefully it does not rain.
I really don't see any difference. Bawa couldn't even get on the court at all last season. If this Guy Marc Michel character can get on the court for 5-10 minutes per game then we automatically have better frontcourt depth than last season. :stickman:
Per Tom Crean's twitter account, Bawa Muniru is officially transferring from Indiana. That opens the door to adding two more recruits to the 2011 class which is kind of what people expected to happen all along. Jeremiah Davis and Cody Zeller remain the obvious targets although I guess Aaron Thomas is in the mix too in the event JD decides otherwise.
