  1. hahahahahah no foul on the Davis dunk attempt. Ya [expletive] off refs
  2. Hey look another Illini game where Illinois gets out shot at the free throw line to a 5 to 1 ratio. Unreal
  3. Ridiculous.
  4. I know I am late, but last possession of the game and Jeff [expletive] Jordan brings the ball up the court, un [expletive] real
  5. I hate you
  6. Jesus Christ way to bail him out ref
  7. Beautiful play from Rose to Noah to Gibson. Textbook
  8. Yea it was a foul, but 99.99% of the time its not getting called at the end of the game. I disagree with King that Kobe, Roy, etc... get that call i think they all get that call Man, idk. At the end of the game the refs swallow their whistles unless someone is laying on the ground murdered
  9. Noah didnt even [expletive] touch him. That right there is the "star" call Rose wouldnt have got.
  10. Yea it was a foul, but 99.99% of the time its not getting called at the end of the game. I disagree with King that Kobe, Roy, etc... get that call
  11. Wow I thought that ball was going down.
  12. How in the hell the ref doesnt call a foul on that is beyond me. Kirk should have given it up, but my God call the [expletive] obvious foul
  13. HAHAHA! Best quote ever. Even when 100% healthy, he fields around 35%. No he doesnt
  14. Oh yeah, Samardzija still has a good chance at success. Ignore the complaints seen in this thread about him. The complaining reeks of an agenda... No matter how much Samardzija's success in 2008 at AAA & the majors bother some fans, he had that success. He just turned 25 & this will only be his 4th season as a full time pitcher( note: he's probably the best WR in the city of Chicago ). He has an outstanding arm & is developing off speed pitches. After his successful 2008, players made an adjustment to his heat. He struggled with those adjustments last year. Reports are he made big strides in his development with his off speed pitches. We'll see how accurate those reports are shortly. Weather it be in Chicago or Iowa, I hope he gets 30+ starts this year. If this happens we'll know a lot more about his future. If he can develop 1 good pitch he'll make a lot of money as a reliever. If he develop 2 or more pitches, he'll make a lot of money as a starter. The complaining reeks of an agenda? WTF and why as Cubs fans, would his success in 2008 at AAA and the majors bother the fans? If hes successful thats good for the Cubs, and Cubs fans. Also regarding the bold, hes already made a lot of damn money, and hasn't done much to earn it. Again though, thats on Hendry giving him the ridiculous contract, not on Jeff.
  15. Regarding VDN coming back next year, Boers and Bernstein and Laurence Holmes on WSCR, continue to say their sources have said VDN is gone no matter what. Today they said even if the Bulls won a championship, VDN would still be fired. Take it for what its worth
  16. You guys realize your own coach said in the post game Purdue played good defense WITHOUT fouling. Can you explain the difference in foul shots based on shot types then? When's the last time a coach after the game says "those refs blew, Chris Kramer fouls on every possession and is probably a virgin?" He has no reason to say they did it without fouling. I have never heard a coach add on the fouling part. Most coaches will credit the opposing defense but not go past saying they played well. Many coaches have also questioned the reffing of games (without calling them out), especially in games they get a technical. I do like your dramatization though. You have a gift with taking things way over the top and making up pointless things to distract everyone from the real topic. Bravo I take my hat off to you :hello: Give me a [expletive] break. You even said it yourself Weber got T'd up why the [expletive] do you think that happened? Im, guessing it wasn't because Weber was applauding the dumb ass officials for their terrific officiating, but thats just a guess.
  17. Illinois as an 8 seed amazes me.
  18. The swapping of picks is meaningless. The Bucks will finish worse than the Bulls How can you assume that when 1/4th of the Bulls rotation just left the team? Yes I think the Bulls are probably still better, but I certainly do not know that for sure. Because losing Tyrus and Salmons really doesn't mean much to this team? Warrick was averaging 10 ppg and Salmons was avg 12ppg. Tyrus was avg 8ppg 6rpg 1 apg. Flip Murray is avg 9ppg 2rpg and almost 2 apg. This team is essentially the same as it was before the trades, with more money coming off the books, and a 1st round pick for a guy avg'ing 8 points a game. This team will go as far as Rose, Noah, and Deng take them plain and simple, and all those guys are still here(minus Noah because of his injury).
  19. The swapping of picks is meaningless. The Bucks will finish worse than the Bulls
  20. THIS! To get a future 1st round pick out of Tyrus freaking Thomas is a steal! He was gone at the end of the year anyway. The pick isn't this year(which is a good thing regarding salary cap), and the Bobcats are no sure thing to be a playoff team next year. We could have our pick next year, along with a possible top 15 pick from the Bobcats to use to move up in the draft if we miss out on all the free agents. Its a great deal. Oh and losing Salmons and Tyrus does NOTHING to our playoff chances this year.
  21. To be fair, Davis was actually worth a [expletive] last year also
  22. Yea because hes not going to be drafted right? Oh wait..... http://espn.go.com/blog/chicago/colleges/post/_/id/94/nba-draft-stock-rising-for-illinois-guard-demetri-mccamey But we are all just Illini homers and think DMac is good when he really isnt. Yea thats it
  23. The RPI is really ugly at 72 coming into today. Still think they'd need to creep into the top 50 to be "safe". That involves not losing out, for sure. Hold serve at home, and even if they lose at Purdue, OSU and Michigan, they go 12-6 in conference, sweep Wisconsin, and likely finish top 50. The RPI is going to take a pretty good leap just from this win over Wiscy. Wiscy has one hell of a resume so far, and Vandy destroying Tenn is going to bump that RPI up even some more.
  24. [expletive] YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I L L-
