  1. SIU down 13 to Creighton with 8 min to go...come on Salukis
  2. Murton in the 2 hole against a righty....I LOVE IT! I just hope when Floyd gets healthy it stays that way, but so far I cant complain much about Lous lineups(minus Izturis batting 2nd the other day) but I dont think that is goin to happen often. LETS PLAY BALL!
  3. I'm not sure that even then that they could coast. The lower seeds get better every year. For example, here are the current 8/9 seeds from one bracketologist: 8's: Oregon, Kentucky, Butler, Villanova 9's: Air Force, Georgia Tech, Xavier, Indiana Those aren't easy teams to get by in the 2nd round. Wisconsin still would have a good chance of getting to the Sweet 16, but certainly not coasting. Obviously who those teams are in the 8/9 slot are going to change over the next week, but the same quality of teams will likely still be there. Kentucky should be higher than an 8, imo. Considering they have the #1 SOS and #10 rpi, but I digress. I'm fairly confident that the Badgers would beat the teams listed above. While I'm concerned by the scoring, they still play excellent defense and are careful (other than yesterday) with the ball. Coast was maybe a strong word. Might want to size that pic down a little lol. Size does not matter I promise lol.
  4. Zambrano doesn't need anybody to get hurt to have as good as shot as anyone. He has as good as shot as anyone from day 1 of the season. He has as good if not better stuff than every pitcher you listed so why does he need them to get hurt? If Zambrano cuts down on the walks just a little, there is a very good shot he walks away with the Cy Young with the offense around him this year.
  5. Bulls get the Bucks today...Lets start a winning streak please!
  6. Holy huge pics batman!
  7. I see Bruce!!!! Bruce, sticking your tongue out at Lou? That's no way to start a good professional relationship. By the way, that angle has you dwarfing Paul Sullivan. Is the woman with the red shirt Carrie Muskat? No I think thats Kerry Sayers from Comcast.
  8. Why? Hes the best GM in Chicago.
  9. and not so good... http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20070228&content_id=1820356&vkey=spt2007news&fext=.jsp&c_id=chc I love the fact that Piniella knows that Murton seen the most pitches per plate app. on the Cubs last year. Dusty would have no clue and not give 2 craps about that. Im liking Lou more and more.
  10. Why in the hell cant this team put teams away? I swear every single game they play they get up by 15 or so in the 3rd quarter, and then they end up letting the team back into it. SO damn frustrating!
  11. Why? He has never said a word to the Yankees or Boston when they sign people to ridiculous ass contracts. So explain why its ok for him to single out Hendry and Sabean?
  12. Looks like Bradley is about to get a good player. If you're referring to Smith, I think there's a better chance that the Illinois Department of Corrections might have gotten a good player, not Bradley. They are both probational offenses.I would not be so sure of that. From ESPN: Someone convicted of either might get probation. He's being charged with both. He still might get probation, but I would not be completely shocked to see him go to jail for at least a little while. He has never been in any kind of trouble before. He will more than like get maybe a small(30-90 days) jail sentence and then probably 4 years of probation. I would be absolutly shocked if he was sentenced to prison.
  13. Is the Singletary on Virginia, any relation to Mike Singletary? I hate Duke by the way.
  14. WOW what a heartbreaker. just wow
  15. WOW what a damn shot by Barbosa. Unreal
  16. The UC seems to be rocking tonight. This game has a playoff type atmosphere. Lets go D!
  17. CALL A FOUL! Noc just got raped under the basket.
  18. Did anyone catch Skiles comments about the Posey incident? He said he couldnt really comment on it, but he knows how he would have handled this, basically insinuating that he would not have blamed any Bull for jumping in and knocking Posey out. Also on WSCR today they had the Heat announcer, and this idiot tried saying that it wasnt really as bas as it looked, that if Deng hadnt fallen so hard to the ground, nothing would have been done about it....Umm ok the reason he fell so hard to the ground was because Posey just about took his damn head off. Oh and screw ESPN.
  19. What the hell is this thread doing on page 3? lol Bulls take on the Knicks and the pathetic Isiah Thomas. Lets hope for a real beatdown.
  20. They might argue over which toolsy gold glover hits the best with RISP, but the end result is the same. They keep making the same mistakes. Yeah, mistakes like acquiring DLee, Ramirez, Murton, Barrett, and Howry. Mistakes like developing Zambrano, Hill, Wuertz, Ohman, Wood, and Prior. These guys are so incompetent. Why do they even have jobs? I could do better with my elementary knowledge of statistics! i know, the cubs have been totally awesome since hendry took over! 5 outs from the WS. Hendry hasn't done jack. FIRE HIM NOW! Oh, and viva la revolution! Hoorary for almost! Hooray for 4 years ago! More like 3, but who's counting? Oh and 2004 was pretty darn good too. 2 bad years. It's the guillotine for Hendry. Liberty, equality, fraternity, or death! Scouts are an affront to liberty. Equality now! What the hell was so great about 2004? Almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades, and I am sick and tired of "almost". Bring in better players and quit signing stiffs like Perez, Macias, etc.... and maybe we can stop saying almost, and instead say we did it.
  21. How is that even possible?? The Blackhawks were in the playoffs for a bunch of years in a row before that finally ended 7 or 8 years ago. They were definitely a stron gteam in the early 90's. The Bulls obviously were. Were the Bears never above .500 at any moment while the other two were during those years? Weren't they a playoff team in 91? Were they ever any good from 90-93?? I have no proof, but that just seems like it can't be right (aside from the fact that the Hawks aren't really above .500 right now). It was 1995 Get out of my head lol. Thats what I get for trying to type, watch Bulls game, watch Il game, and eat supper at the same time lol.

Maybe they said 1995. although I couldve sworn they said 85. I really dont know, but who cares the Bulls just won, and now I can stop hearing about how the Bulls havent beaten anybody above .500. And just for kicks and giggles....Hit the road Kobe!
