  1. Relax. Barrett was a good hitting catcher and the pitchers had an ERA of over 5 with him as a catcher, while Blanco/Hill saw an ERA of around 2.00. Besides, they have been winning since they traded Barrett. They have been winning in spite of the catchers terrible offense. Thats because defense/pitching is more important for a catcher. You also havent had the bullpen meltdowns, boneheaded throws, and passed balls you had with Barrett. When you think about it, catchers call pitches, can deny runners from moving into scoring position by throwing out runners and plus they guard the most important base on the field. It takes a lot of offense from a catcher to outweigh all of that. No it doesnt. Hill has been mediocre defensively, and Bowen and Hill are abysmal offensively.
  2. How do you become a Nats fan? From Wash?
  3. Well looks like no worse than 4.5 out going into the All Star Break. Ill take it
  4. Hopefully he just lets him get Wilson, let a LH PH come up, then bring in Ohman since 3 of the next 4 hitters would be LH. That sounds mighty nice, but that's logical. He's going to let Z get up to 140 before he takes him out. That also assumes that the Pirates don't do something crazy like let Chacon hit. You were saying? lol
