    LOL, he doesn't watch many Cubs games does he. Well the post is pretty silly, its just a rant but balls have been bouncing the Cubs way left and right since about late May now. The wild pitching in philly, the flurry of 2 out RBI hits in July, all the errors and bad defense other teams played in August, games like tonight where a couple misplayed balls hand the game to you. Someone upstairs is on the Cubs side. Granted in April/May the opposite happened, the Cubs couldn't buy a break and Yost even said he thought more things bounced our way in that one month than all of last year. Its funny how you call that post silly, yet made a post on the same board basically saying the same silly crap. From Ender What part of last night was on "stupid crap"? A walk, a line drive single by Lee, a gapper by Aram?

    Did you also notice how he referred to Theriot as "our leadoff hitter." Technically he led off the inning, but I interpreted Lou's statment as Theriot being the team's leadoff guy. I wouldnt look to far into that. Soriano will be leading off

That has to do with the fact that we are playing bad teams. Good teams take advantage of those mistakes that horrible teams make.

The protest is regarding Lou's double switch. The Reds said are protesting because Lou didn't IMMEDIATELY tell the ump what he was doing. But it was completely legit, the Reds are just being jackasses. Seriously, he didn't break any rules whatsoever. he did technically. i don't think anything will happen from it though I'd trust Kasper and Brenly's knowledge of the rules over the hacks in Cincy. I trust Lou as well on this. He said there is nothing to protest

    hate to get technical, but the Cubs will be one game back in the loss column, so they won't hold their destiny in their own hands. usually not a big deal, but with this few games left, it is. This is what I meant
