  1. Michigan hasn't committed yet. The Capital One Bowl is down to Illinois and Michigan. If Illinois doesn't get picked by the BCS, they'll play in that bowl and Michigan will play in the Champs Sports. If Illinois does get picked, then Michigan plays in the Capital One Bowl. someone just said Michigan was in the Champ Sports bowl That was me, and they havent committed yet. That was where I was saying they could go depending on some outcomes.
  2. Are you referring to the PI call? That looked pretty obvious to me. I didn't think they'd call it, but the defender had his arms all over the receiver for nearly 2 seconds before the ball got there. Yea on the replay it definatly was PI. I wonder why the hell Stoops reacted that way when it was right in front of him? Come on OU
  3. So where are these officials from in this OU Mizzou game? They are horrible.
  4. Thats certainly your opinion.
  5. If you read the link talking about Michigan I posted, it says the Illini will go to the Capitol One bowl if they are in the top 14 and Mizzou wins. If the bowl committee can match up FLA with the Illini its going to happen. Too good of storyline If Illinois plays Florida, it won't be in the BCS. If they go to the Capital One Bowl, that means the BCS has already said no to them. That's exactly what Derwood and I are predicting that if the favorites win tonight Illinois is going to the Capital One against Florida and not the BCS. Yea I confused myself with all the stuff Ive read today.
  6. Illinois will be getting a BCS game undeservedly, of course. nonetheless it's not a done deal yet. Keep up the hate, its great comedy. The Illini will be in the top 14 now, and I doubt they get passed over for an at large. Not going to matter because when OU beats Mizzou tonight, the Illini will be playing in the Rose, while Ohio State plays for the NC. top 14 doesn't matter, and they WOULD be an at-large. What do you mean top 14 doesnt matter? You have to be in the top 14 to get in a BCS game, and I said I doubt they would get passed over for an at large. Not really sure why you have WOULD like that. 14 teams for 10 slots. and you're making it sound like they aren't an at-large. why wouldn't your at-large get passed for another (say, Georgia or Tennesse or Hawaii or Missouri or Oklahoma or Kansas or.....) How am I making it sound like they arent an at large when I put right in my post I doubt they would get passed over for an at large? The question is why you doubt it. Illinois doesn't have that big of a draw nationally. They aren't a lock to bring a ton of fans, and they have a questionable resume. Sure, the Rose Bowl will definitely take them if they are there, but why would any other bowl pick Illinois over Arizona State? Because Illinois is a good storyline, and they have a history of drawing well in bowl games just look at 2001 Sugar Bowl. USF is a good storyline too. (And better might i add) No they arent, and USF wont draw anywhere near the fans U of I would.

I understand its 14 teams for 10 slots but if they Illini are outside the top 14 they arent eligible for a BCS game, so top 14 does matter.

  13. Illinois will be getting a BCS game
  14. What's with the LSU hate? Honestly there really is no hate. I was rooting for Tenn because Im tired of hearing some LSU fans, and analysts saying how great LSU is, and that since their 2 losses were in OT they arent that bad of a loss. Also hearing Les Miles open his mouth makes it really hard to root for LSU. The comment regarding Hester was after seeing him on tv. He just looks funny.
  15. My God Jacob Hester looks like a major dork wow.
  16. Seriously what is this guy thinking with his decision making? Hes making passes that are just automatic picks.
  17. He has been terrible.
  18. Im not scared of Florida at all. I really wasnt even thinking about this game effecting the Illini. I just like seeing LSU lose.
  19. My God Eric Ainge makes some horrible decisions.
  20. Big defensive stand on 3rd down by Tenn. Come on Tenn
  21. What a terrible pass from Ainge. I think a high school DB could have read that and taken it in for the pick 6. LSU with the lead now
  22. The cupboard is awfully bare when it comes to talent on the Michigan b-ball team. Harvard just beat Michigan.
  23. Just noticed the SIU and IU game is on ESPNU. Of course I dont get ESPNU at my parents. Guess Im stuck watching OU beat Mizzou.
  24. Go Salukis! Not just saying that as a U of I fan, but since I went to SIU for 2 years, I try to root for them as well. What do you expect in this game? Honestly I really dont know after seeing USC dominate SIU like they did. If Im the Salukis, I try and do the same thing to Gordon that Xavier did, but thats easier said than done. SIU needs a big game from Faulker, and SIU arena is sure to be crazy. Probably one of the best matchups Carbondale has seen in probably forever. I give IU credit for going there. Might result in a loss, but should be a good learning experience in that environment. Yea I really wish U of I and SIU could work something out especially now since SIU is a very good opponent. It would be alot of fun for the 2 schools, and the state of Illinois.
