Those are two different seasons, though, and I'm assuming some of the players were different. The only difference this time is Suton is there. The other difference is that its a completely new ballgame too which is a pretty big deal. Add in the fact that its for the National Championship, in MSU's backyard, I could see them making up the difference. Like I said Illinois beat Mizzou by 30 or so on a "neutral" court early in the season, I dont think there is a chance in hell that would have happend again around tourney time. Yes its tough to make up a 30 point difference, but the next MSU-UNC game starts 0-0 so that 30 points is meaningless.

Ya Im definatly not saying MSU would wiin, but citing a previous game early in the year is pointless. That game means nothing now, and MSU is playing some of their best ball of the year right now. Lucious is a freshman who has grown, and this MSU team is playing some of the best D in the country right now.

Do you honestly think they havent upgraded the offensive line? Having a real QB is only going to help our D. Our D was on the field so much last year in some games, that its understandable they gave up some points. Do you think Angelo is going to ignore the D in the draft?

Ha maybe UConn should go for the ball after blocking a shot instead of trying to be "hard" and mean mugging the MSU players. HAHA

I understand your point, but you dont think its possible UNC caught MSU on their worst night? I mean that same MSU team that lost by 35 points is giving UConnn a hell of a game, and has already beaten Louisville. I mean Illinois beat Mizzou by around 30 early in the year too, do you think the same woulda been true had they played in the tourney?

Exactly also sucks all WR's are gone from Free agency already, and we dont have any picks in the draft to use to upgrade the team either....

HAHA bitter Packer fan face, I LOVE IT! I realize I am really late in reading this, but after being called a Packer fan I have never been so offended. Well with that ridiculous comment I could only assume you were a Packer fan. If thats not the case, then it must just be that you dont know much about the Bears or football. Really? Is it that ridiculous to be concerned that the upgrade at quarterback might not help enough to offset the poor group of receivers, questionable offensive line, and average and aging defense? It is also reasonable to doubt that Cutler will be a perennial All Pro with the Bears. I hope it happens, but I don't think it's the slam dunk like most seem to think. Theyve addressed the offensive line already for one. Recievers we will see, but they have weapons in Hester, Olsen, and Clark with Bennet being an unknown at this point, but hes got history with Cutler. Your comment was "every defensive postion" and that is just plain ridiculous and you know it. Its hyperbole at its finest. Oh and they still have 8 picks to use and Angelo has a history with drafting starters later in the draft on defense. So yes your comment was ridiculous Im sorry.

Yea hard to beleive MSU is winning this game so far, but the 12 points or so from Lucious is basically the reason. MSU cant do much on the inside, so they needed someone to step up and hit some 3's and the freshman has responded.

Personnaly I have nothing to win or lose in this game. I just need UNC to win it all and I win my bracket, but of course Im a Big 10 guy so Im rooting for MSU. Plus I hate UConn
