    That woulda sucked, cause it'd be back to worrying about committed recruits until they signed the letter. As long as Illinois doesn't lowball him, I don't think he's leaving until he gets a nice head coaching gig. jerrance is on record saying hes never leaving U of I, but money talks. They need to give him a raise, because they money he reportedly turned down to stay at U of I was no small chunk of change. I dont know how he did it.

    Any of you Illini guys hear the rumors that Calipari tried getting Jerrance to go to Kentucky with him? Thank God he turned it down, and has said hes never leaving U of I.

    8-10 years ago teams were stressing OBP but now they are stressing defense? I just dont see it, and I dont think OBP was being pushed 8-10 years ago like it is now. MY GOD PHILIPS SHUT UP!!!!!!!!

    I like your style Raisin. I win money if UNC wins, but if Mich St wins Big Ten wins some credibility. Im in a no lose situation I guess UNC 78 MSU74 Same here, $80 2nd place with a UNC win(pretty much solely cause I was the only person in my pool to put MSU in the finals), but go Sparty. (I was obnoxious as all hell on Saturday night with my Michigan State hat on yelling Sparty, Yeah! I think I'll repeat that tonight, only less drinky) Off topic, did you get a chance to catch DJ yesterday SSR? Im excited! I saw him in the semis(Saturday I think) I'm starting to believe that he starts day 1. Hes improved greatly since I last seen him play in Peoria. He is all around as it gets, and his ability to play D is going to make Bruce fall in love with him. I agree he starts from day 1.

    If Harden goes down with a significant arm injury, it wont be Samardja or Mitch Atkins replacing him for anything more than a few starts, before Hendry gets someone else, plain and simple.

    Yea my God, its so easy to figure out why he was fired as GM just after listening to him for like 10 mins.

    They don't. Left field fills up far faster. The LINE into the RF bleachers is much longer, generally, however because it is closer to the Red line (CTA train), hense most people come from that direction and get into the first line they see. EDIT: and it's true you need to be there when gates open (2 hours before game time) if you want a seat in the first few rows. You generally need to be there at least an hour early to get a bleacher seat at all. If you don't get there till game time don't expect to find anything more than a single seat scattered here and there. Ok gotcha. I forgot gates open 2 hours before gametime, I was thinking we'd be standing in line for a long ass time. Im a dumbass

Does it really matter if you get there early for the bleachers or not? 12 05 game and I kinda like going around before the game(cheaper beer) but if it is really a concern Ill definately get there as early as possible.

    Out of pure curiosity, why do RF bleachers fill up faster? Im going to the Cubs-Cleve game in June and will be sitting in the bleachers for the 1st time, so I was just wondering. Also is it true that you need to get there about 2 hours early if you have bleacher seats?

    the cardinals ummm, didn't you here? He definately said the Cards would have a better starting rotation if Harden goes down, or he said the Cardinals have a better starting lineup. 1 of those 2 were definately said, just not clear which

    Yea I also always like the "well if so and so gets hurt the Cubs are screwed". I guess when that person gets hurt Hendry isnt allowed to go out and find a replacement, or to find an upgrade during the season. This roster you see now is I guess what we will see for all 162 games according to some.
