With Lee hitting and his propensity to hit in Dp's last year I dont blame Lou. That only encourages him to swing at bad pitches. Frankly, part of the reason Lee had so many freaking DPs last year was because he'd be up with a runner on first and Lou would stupidly call for a hit and run. Well is it a bad thing to encourage Lee to swing the bat with 2 strikes? Because he sure does take a hell of alot of strike 3s looking. And Im not quite sure why with 2 runners on, it would encourage him to swing at a bad pitch. If its a bad pitch you take the walk

To be fair though, that was the same pitch that was called a ball 2 times in a row so I don't really blame lee for not swinging either. That wasnt close to being the same pitch as the other 2. Those other 2 were clearly outside and that one wasnt

Exactly it was a strike and Lee was a double play machine last year, you have to send the runners.

May have to start up the free Hoff club like we had to last year with Pie and Cedeno. There really is no reason with a strikeout pitcher like Harden on the mound, that Hoff isnt in RF.

Id rather these minor things pop up with Bradley and Aram right now while Sori and Fuku are hitting. Hopefully when they cool off it will be time for another couple of our guys to get hot. Thats what is so good about this lineup.

nope, they're rained out (oh, and it's freezing too). Playing 2 tomorrow, beginning at 11am, just for Raisin. He won't get any work done ;-) Yea that doesnt surprise me, its just plain crap out today. Hoping to go to Quad Cities on Friday and catch the Chiefs over there. Never been to that stadium, but looking forward to it. -
It was questionable, but with the bench situation, and the weather situation, Im not sure what other choice he had. Bench was short as is, and quite frankly with the cold, and rain, Id rather not see Z or Demp go up to hit after sitting all day. Today was a perfect day for a pulled muscle if not stretched out properly.
