  1. Its going to be hard to showcase him from the bullpen bench. He wont be seeing much action unless we have a starter with a crap outing again.
  2. I just wish it wasn't on the first pitch. The Cubs I know would come out the next inning and go 1, 2, 3 on 8 pitches, leaving Hampton's game total relatively low for somebody who is getting knocked around. I'd like to see them force him out of the game ASAP. Yea Im just thinking if Hill can get a hit against Hampton, Wells possibly could too :D
  3. Im kinda pissed about the sac bunt, but its hard to be pissed when its 6-0
  4. When Koyie Hill gets an RBI single against you, you know you suck!
  5. Milt is an OBP maching. Come on Sori, get ahold of one
  6. I love ARam! Come on Milt, keep it rolling
  7. There you go Theriot. Lets pound these assclowns
  8. I think Fox has caught Wells exactly 1 time while in the minors.
  9. Well then why are you complaining about Fuku not starting when Reed has historically hit leftys really good? And there is a situation where Hill is better than Fox, its called defense. I like Fox as well, but putting him out there with a rookie on the mound, and against a team that has pretty good speed, is asking for problems.
  10. So we called up a guy with an ERA of almost 7? HAHAHA.
  11. Guh? No Fukudome? And catch Jake Fox for the love of all that is holy, Lou! Hampton is a lefty And Hill sucks. What does Hill sucking have to do with Fukudome not starting?

  13. Id be banned for saying that at GRB, oh wait, Im already banned for saying less than that :D Saying Chicago is a better town than St. Louis is worse than calling an established poster a "whiny little [expletive]?" For someone with over 10000 posts on a similar message board, you really struggle with understanding rules of behavior. Oh, it was a jab at the Cubs, and I shouldn't do that here. It is a Cubs board. But since this is a thread about Cardinal fans on the ledge, and in the General Baseball Discussion (formally the Rivalries) forum I figured I could sneak it in. And its not a big deal in my opinion, I was mainly just kidding around.

Im talking about the comment about Chicago having a terrible baseball team on the North Side, genius.
  15. Lou has no idea how to manage a bullpen
  16. Time to take out the trash. Haha GRB got me tonight, and we Modzilla got this one :D
  17. Get a couple guys out there like Wainwight and Carpenter and they probably will. When you have 14 straight innings of having a runner on base like the Dodgers did, Im not sure you can really talk up Wainwright and Carpenter. They both got extremely lucky.
  18. Rained out. Hell yeah it was. Brutal. Our fire alarms went off. And now I have to get up to the stadium at 6AM to pull the tarp off the field  Oh yeah, apparently David Patton and Jay Jackson were buying drinks for one of my friends and all her girlfriends last night at a bar. Trying to get that road tang. If you look like David Patton, Im not really sure he makes enough money to be buying that many drinks to be able to get that roan tang.
  19. I'm watching some of the A's/Red Sox game, and I thought I saw he was batting .281, which isn't too bad. Because he OPS"d over 1.000 in May. Since May hes hit .218 and .269 with OBP's under .300
  20. Molina with a 2 run single 4-0 Stl now. Unreal how lucky they have been tonight, and this entire series.
  21. Info for those who can't watch? His normal antics on the last out. Throw his arm up, pound his chest, go to his knee, etc...all because he got 3 outs before giving up 6 runs and he struck out a pitcher to end the game. I know Im impressed
