    I agree with you. If we can split in Chicago (which is weird to say about your home ice, btw) I think we take Game 5 in San Jose. Now for those who are greedy and wants a sweep, I want to be there with you in spirit with that thinking, but I don't want to press my luck. Let's see where the series is after Game 3. If the Hawks have a commanding 3-0 lead, then I will jump on the sweep bandwagon, but winning in 5 at San Jose, is just as good. Any winning at all is good.

    If you figure 50/50 chance of winning any game against the Sharks and a 65% chance to beat the Eastern champ, the Blackhawks are now over 50% to win the Cup.

    Apparently very since he's been a healthy scratch all series. I thought he was turning the corner. Do the matchups just not mesh well with him this series? Must not. I thought he was pretty good in the Vancouver series. Maybe they really, really want Eager in this one?

    Sharks still don't have an even-strength goal *knock on wood*. Stay out of the box in the third, stay defensively responsible and play simple, smart hockey.

    pretty sure we were due a penalty, even if it was an iffy one I counted *maybe* two penalties that I thought should have been called against San Jose in the first game. I saw four or five in the first period tonight. They got away with a ton.

    San Jose is pinching more. Blackhawks are playing their classic Q road game, choosing to concede the halfboards so that San Jose has a much easier time clearing their zone but can't get odd-man breaks.
