  1. Oh god yes. Sending them into the offseason muttering about umps will be glorious.
  2. Oh god I am dead and this is heaven thank you I tried to be a good man but I don't deserve this
  3. Lol Lackey on short rest is awesome because of course.
  4. Emotional overreaction: annoyed by the trade deadline again
  5. Cubs-Mets would be fun because old guy fans would be really worked up and the rest of us would just be ordinary levels of worked up for the NLCS.
  6. This would have been a lot more irritating if they'd lost: http://www.brooksbaseball.net/pfxVB/cache/numlocation.php-pitchSel=608379&game=gid_2015_10_12_slnmlb_chnmlb_1&batterX=22&innings=yyyyyyyyy&sp_type=1&s_type=3&league=mlb&pnf=&zlpo=&cache=1.gif
  7. If the Cubs win tomorrow, they'll finish with more wins than the Cardinals no matter what. Technically no. If the Cubs win tomorrow it's 101 wins vs 101 wins Stupid math.
  8. If the Cubs win tomorrow, they'll finish with more wins than the Cardinals no matter what.
  9. Or the history of pitchers on short rest for the last few decades. I love it.
  10. Cardinals donged into total and utter submission. I love it.
  11. Even if they come back, Cubs will just continue their elite dongcraft.
  12. This is glorious. We have reached maximum dong density against the cardinals in a pivotal playoff game. If it stops being fun later because baseball or whatever, so be it.
  13. Loss-averse bias. The fear of losing something that feels like it is already yours. The better the situation for the Cubs (like, starting Arrieta at home against Wacha), the more potential for loss. I absolutely hate seeing all the Cardinals fans who talk about this series as if it is already 2-1 Cubs.
