  1. alex gordon up with bases loaded for royals against schilling...and he whiffs.
  2. so, you can stick your elbow over that plate for a HBP? we obviously didnt use neifi correctly.
  3. Same here. its nowhere near as good as the demo and the mosaic is worse than that. im not seeing anywhere near tv quality. picture quality is great when it's working. . . . i wonder if there is extra volume today? they should be prepared for infinite volume. $120
  4. No, no, no...He is right. Carpenter is definitely going to suck this bad for the rest of the season. He just didn't look right. ESPN's gun had him at Prior/Miller velocity for the portions of the game I could stomach. I didn't pay that close attention but I could have sworn I saw 92/93. i thought so, too. he was getting hit pretty hard though, but i doubt we're lucky enough for that to continue.
  5. Are you kidding? WTH! MLB.TV doesn't show ESPN games live. It will be available on archive (but unlike the other games, it might not be archived immediately--at least they weren't in the past). They figure you can watch them on TV (and ESPN pays big bucks to carry the game...) MLB.TV doesn't show any games that are televised on a national network so they never air the Saturday games on FOX either, which sucks for somebody like me who gets the Dodgers/A's/Giants on Saturdays instead of the Cubs. it sucks if you're trying to watch the games at work.
  6. i just want z to know he's wanted and to focus on pitching tomorrow.
  7. carp got hit hard tonite. i was hoping to see him throw 120 pitches or so to get warmed up for the year.
  8. apparently my mlb.tv will be rendered worthless due to espn2? thanks for nothing.
  9. starting yesterday, every cub game will be on tv and therefore mlb.tv until october! hopefully late october.
  10. he could develop Wernicke's aphasia and it would take awhile before anyone noticed.
  11. wow, i watched lke 5 minutes. whatever team the bulls had on the court looked like 3 fat old guys from a rec league.
  12. this has been hashed and re-hashed. since it is obvious we would pull prior back if claimed, there is no point for any gm do that. all it could do is create some animosity between clubs. it could still happen, though, and then i guess they'll have to put him on the DL.
  13. was that cedeno hitting it to the warning track?
  14. they just showed hte replay, tough to see, but he was pretty wide of the bag. runner was going and it was real close
  15. i could see him writing a 1,000 page book with no information in it.
  16. ST walks are a good sign, but how excited can you really get about them? it may not mean his judgement of the zone has really improved
