    Well you do live in St. Louis... Yeah but WGN is never blacked out here when the Cubs and Cards are playing. Not once. This isn't going to make you happy, but I get the game. DERREK!!!!! Seriously? What part of St. Louis are you in? 2-0 Cubs! Maryland Heights I have ATT Uverse I don't know what ATT Uverse is, but you're no more than 10 miles from me... that's pretty silly if I'm blacked out and you're not. Oh well, at least I'm getting it one way or another. directtv in st chuck= no blackout. no hrabosky!

    It was a routine grounder to second and the second baseman took his time and the runner beat it out. That play was hilarious. The announcers spent the next several minutes bagging on Lopez, but it really looked like Albert dogged it to go cover first and Lopez had to wait for him. Either way, great stuff. Yea that play was entirely on Pujols, but dont tell Stl fans that. Pujols can do no wrong lopez had to wait more than he should've, but he wasnt ready when pujols finally was. i think the blame goes both ways. and you're absolutely right about the 2nd part. lucky for me i didnt have to hear hrabosky's take on the play.

    And those that ARE broadcast in HD but not available to people outside the Chicago area because stupid DirecTV doesn't have WGN-HD. People who complain about games that aren't being shown in HD. we shouldnt complain when arbitrary factors outside our control affect our picture quality and enjoyment of watching games.

    Anyone with some insight. I've always wondered this, and if its possible to intentionally swing at a wild pitch with 2 strikes and run to first. It's possible, but you've gotta be real quick on your feet to recognize that pitch is going to the backstop. I used to do the other thing you were talking about when I'd get IBBd in coed softball. Swing on the first 2 to go down 0-2 in the count. This was of course not baseball though. My thing is I think guys should let infield fly rule pop ups drop. I'd figure at least 5 times a year you'd have some dumb guy getting doubled off since they don't understand the rule. there's no point in catching them, right? Well its an assumed out. The runners must tag up to advance. What SSR is saying is that once in awhile its possible to catch someone off the bag, not understanding that an out was called, and you can double them off. what do you mean by assumed? iirc the batter is definitively called out, so theres no force. but if you drop it some moran may freak out and think they have to get to the next base.
