While I admit that the Cubs have no interest in bringing Sosa back, if he would agree to be the right-handed part of a platoon in rightfield, I think he could still help the team. His numbers against lefties last year: 288/370/471. He could still be effective in that role. I know he wouldn't accept it, but none the less, he could still hit lefties.

The only thing Ponson has proven is that he can out drink most of the guys on the team and could likely eat a whole pizza in less than 15 minutes.
