  1. While I'm not eager to count on Marshall, I still think he has the ability to be a quality major league pitcher. I think Guzman may be ok as well, but I doubt him a little more than I do Marshall. If the Cubs signed Schmidt, I'd have no qualms about Marshall being the number five starter going into next season.
  2. I think Willy is over-valued by many baseball types, just as Juan Pierre is.
  3. Apparently we haven't stopped the childish, trite attacks on Prior however.
  4. I would not like dealing Guzman and Gallagher for Jennings, but if the other pitchers are getting snatched up, I might swallow hard and do that deal.
  5. Every powerhouse in the SEC is pretty much for a playoff. BTW, Les Miles said he voted Florida over Michigan.
  6. I'd love to get my hands on a couple of Sugar Bowl tickets.
  7. He's going to take a physical for the Indians and the Indians are thinking about making him their closer. Link.
  8. Looks like the Daily Herald is encouraging us to ask Bruce questions. Link.
  9. Hmmm....well, that was a sudden turn of events.
  10. HOLY CRAP!
  11. Can the rookie handle the two-minute drill.... :-k
  12. Walker would be ideal for the bench and splitting time with DeRosa. He's an ideal #2 hitter or if Lofton is brought in, he's disciplined enough for the eighth spot. Unfortunately, I think that ship has sailed. Walker didn't exactly help his marketability with his brutal performance after leaving the Cubs. He's in the same boat as someone like Aaron Boone this offseason, he'll need to accept a bench role with someone and maybe if an injury arises, he can get some regular PT again. Walker with the Padres: 282/366/419. Not too shabby for a bench player.

  14. You won....I'd check it, but I've already closed my stat tracker window.

  16. LSU will beat ND by two scores.
  17. I think Dallas can beat New Orleans, and they should beat New Orleans. That being said, I think the Saints are a top five team in the NFC.
  18. You linked to the Merker thread, which has no info about this in it. Also, the MLB should simply turn around and file a finding of KRIVKSY IS AN IDIOT. Link has been fixed.
  19. I've watched as many Saints games as I have Cowboys, and the Saints scare me. Their defense can be leaky, but the Saints offense is very, very good. If Colston and Horn get healthy, they are very dangerous!
  20. Even with a subpar performance by Romo, I'm going to beat Cut for Cap Space and guarantee myself a spot in the playoffs. Player of the game is Corey Dillon!
  21. I think I might name my first son, Martin!!! Go Cowboys!!!
  22. Dallas retakes the lead...but TO needs to catch that one!
  23. Ugh....tie game. Let's go Cowboys!
