  1. I heart Demarcus Ware!
  2. Romo looking much better this drive. Go Cowboys.
  3. he really is a moron. I remember a Steelers game where he caught a pass, went down to the ground, then stood up and flipped the ball in a cocky way. One problem - nobody touched him. I know the ball got recovered by the other team, and I think it may have been returned for a touchdown. That personal foul likely cost the Giants three points, if not a TD.
  4. Thanks for being stupid, Plaxico.
  5. This has been Romo's worst of all his starts thus far. He's usually very accurate, but he hasn't been today.
  6. Romo isn't looking too hot today.
  7. If both teams won out from here, Carolina would just have to beat NO in week 17 to win the division by virtue of sweeping them. The Saints still have to play a dangerous Washington team and the Cowboys while Carolina doesn't have anyone they shouldn't handle pretty easily until the last two games, against the Falcons and Saints. Carolina's wildly inconsistent, but they have a way of putting things together late in the season. We'll see, though. I don't see the Panthers beating the Saints in the Dome.
  8. The Panters best hope is a WC. They won't take the division from the Saints.
  9. My hope is that the fact that LSU's offense isn't that great will make it a good defensive struggle. My feeling is that LSU's offense will suddenly become really good against Rick Minter's terrible schemes + our terrible secondary. If nothing else, it's going to be really interesting. This is really the first time Weis will have coached against a team that's somewhere in between "cruddy" and "world-beaters". LSU's running game isn't that great. They pass very well. The problem has been is that Les Miles is a moron and tries to run the ball until the fourth quarter and he finally wakes up and starts to let Russell do his thing. Had LSU quit trying to run on Auburn sooner, I think they would've won that game.
  10. Marion Barber.....TOUCHDOWN!!!!!
  11. PI, 1st down Dallas!
  12. LSU vs ND in the Sugar. That's a home game for LSU. Geaux Tigers!
  13. The Saints game needs to hurry up and end so my network will switch to the Cowboys game.
  14. Second loss for the Colts in three games. Are they slipping?
  15. I wanted Lofton last year before we gave up some of our good prospects for Pierre.
  16. The other owners would never allow Cuban to buy any team. Baseball is far to conservative for a person like him... They let Murdoch buy the Dodgers. They already have Steinbrenner. The owners won't object if he has the money.
  17. I was just listing some people that I thought might be moved. Not all of those fit the Cubs needs. That being said, Tex could likely play a corner outfield spot if needed.
  18. I think if one can put together a productive platoon for a price cheaper than that production will get you from one player, then it makes sense. For example if one could get a platoon that would produce a 900 OPS and the combination of the parts make 10-11 million, it's a good idea as that is the going rate for a 900+ OPS player.
  19. Ten Names that Might Be Available 1. Andruw Jones- He's in the last year of his contract. If the Braves are out of it, they would look to move him. He's 10-5, so it could be tricky. 2. Tim Hudson- He's affordable for this year, but his salary jumps in 2008-2009. The Braves might want to ship him to a team in desperate need for a pitcher. 3. Mark Teixeira- 2007 will be the last year of his deal. The Rangers hope to contend, but if they falter, Tex could be the bat that puts a team over the edge. 4. Ichiro- His contract ends after 2007. Unless he signs an extension with Seattle, I could see him being moved this summer. 5. Vernon Wells- If he's not extended and the Blue Jays fall out of the race, Wells will be moved. 6. Livian Hernandez- He's a durable starter. Teams always look at these at the deadline. 7. Marcus Giles- If he's not traded before, he'll be a hot commodity at the deadline. 8. Jose Vidro- For the right package, I think the Nationals would move him. 9. Geoff Jenkins 10. Omar Vizquel
  20. How would you know, Vance? Platoon was released in 1986. I had many dating years between then and the current Mrs. Let me reiterate...not a good date movie.
  21. I thought Platoon was a good movie...but it's not a very good date movie.
  22. Bring back Kent. Mercker wants a comeback. Link. Get this one done, Jim!
