Dallas, Jacksonville and Baltimore are the biggest threats to take him before then I think. I wouldn't consider Dallas a serious threat for taking Quinn, I think if anything they're bluffing and trying to get someone to trade up with them. Jerry Jones likes him some big names though, so I'm leaving that as a possibility. He does, but so far he has been really committed to Tony Romo being the QB of the future. From his comments leading up to the draft, I get the feeling we're looking at a CB. I agree that we were probably going CB or WR going into the draft, but they also didn't forsee Quinn falling. Jerry likes Romo, but Quinn would be a nice insurance policy. At 22, he wouldn't be too expensive of a gamble. I'm getting word of a rumor that if Quinn is there at 22, either Dallas will take him or is trying to trade him to Cleveland for their second round pick this year and either a 1st or 2nd round pick next year.

I think it's all a ploy to get someone to trade up with us, I really don't see Jerry taking him. He seems really committed to Romo. Roy Phillpot of the Ranch Report says that he thinks Dallas will take Quinn if he's there.

If the Pack or Jags don't take Quinn, I think the Cowboys will.

I'd much rather trade out of that spot if Quinn is still there, I would be pretty pissed if he's the pick. We really don't need a QB controversy with Romo and Quinn. Personally, I'd like them to take Quinn if he falls that far, which I doubt he will. The Cowboys without any immediate need could add a player of value. Romo would be the starter, but the Cowboys would have insurance if Romo falls back to earth. With Johnson on the roster, nothing would be expected of Quinn this year.

In defense of some of the other guys, I got an email from a friend in Dallas that says with Quinn falling the Cowboys are looking hard at trying to get him. Jones believes the team doesn't have any immediate needs that have to be addressed. They like their receivers, though would like to get younger there. They addressed O-line with signing Davis and safety by signing Hamlin. If they think they can get Quinn, they will.

There was nothing make-believe about Macias. I've seen him and he's scary! he's playing for nashville this year...i haven't decided whether or not i wanna heckle him or be his biggest fan...i think being his biggest fan would be funnier....you know, showing up to every game with a sign that has his face on a gremlins body...continuously singing my praises for him and asking him for and receiving his autograph an obscene amount of times this year. Be His Fan!!!!!!!!!

Same here. I sent the GM of the FOX station a nasty email. There are more Cubs and Cards fans here than there are Yankees or Red Sox. I doubt I get a response, but I think every time we get a sucky national game, he'll hear from me.
