    I doubt that high, I'd probably rank him in the 12-15 range. Still not a bad get for 2 very replaceable guys, and we save money. Seems like a pretty good deal I'm excited as well. He looked good when I saw him at Mississippi.

    That crappy joke has already been made in this thread. No. 22 is still open. Oh and I've amended the rules so you can submit a player after 10 rounds, not 20. What if that's who I wanted. So, are the rules now we're only able to submit players you approve of?

    Ascanio has a lively arm. He worked some as the Mississippi Braves closer after Devine was promoted. I think he will be useful as power right-hander out of the pen. His stuff isn't as good as Marmol, but he could be a nice arm.

    I watchec Ascaino pitch several times last year for Mississippi. He has the potential to be a decent pitcher out of the pen. If I'm not mistaken, I think he was selected for the Southern League All-Star game.

    My guess is that Dempster really wants to start and began pushing pretty heavily for that chance last season. The Cubs told him to wait until this year. He waited and now Lou and the Cubs have promised him the chance to start. In all liklihood, they may be less than enamored with that idea, but it's a promise they've already made to Ryan. So, to solve the problem, they'd prefer to move him in a trade and let his role as either starter or bullpen arm be someone else's problem.

    Duncan is the type of hitter that might excel at the Ballpark in Arlington. I can see the Rangers motivation for the move. This one wouldn't surprise me at all.

    You've probably described Miles accurately. He's a pretty good recruiter. He's not a bad coach, but he makes some dumb moves as well. I'm glad we kept him for the stability, but it's not like he's irreplaceable.
