  1. Fred +1 is on the list too. I'm getting to the park around noon-ish, maybe a little before to stand in line. Anyone who can be there to keep me company and help me hold seats when it opens would be appreciated.
  2. Griffey isn't really that good anymore. Hopefully his name (and Seattle) drive up the asking price. Griffey will command more than that, IMO. I don't doubt the Reds will ask for much more. I wouldn't be willing to pay any more, however.
  3. As to what I'd givep for Griffey? Not much. Maybe Ascanio and a lower level prospect. Dunn, I'd be willing to pay much more.
  4. That all depends on how much he wants to play this year. Right now, he has zero offers on the table. If he wants to play, I think he could be had for under five million. Maybe he doesn't want to play that badly, I don't know.
  5. I like Dunn, but waste valuable trading chips acquiring Dunn or Griffey or Bradley. Slide Fukudome to CF, Soriano to RF, and pencil Bonds in at LF. When Bonds needs a day off, use Reed Johnson or Pie. This line-up would be very good. CF Fukudome RF Soriano 1b Lee LF Bonds 3b Ramirez C Soto 2b DeRosa SS Theriot/Cedeno =P~ Bonds likely would cost around 2-3 million on a one-year deal.
  6. I'm hoping when Eyre returns, Marquis is DFA with either Marshall or Gallagher stepping into the rotation.
  7. This one will be over by the time I get home. I'll have to TiVo and watch it delayed. Go Cubs!
  8. It took a perfect play to get him, but he was beaten by the throw.
  9. That ball scared me for a sec. And let's get some runs!
  10. Wildness could be Zambrano's undoing tonight. He's all over the place.
  11. Damn! No runs. Zambrano is going to have to keep shutting them down.
  12. Soriano looks horrible in leftfield. Would he look that bad at second?
  13. I love it when we get a first inning run! Go Cubs!
  14. Forget Griffey. If the Reds are trading outfielders, go for Dunn. Move Fukudome to CF, Soriano to RF, Dunn if LF. I likey!
  15. I'm so glad to see Ramirez back. I've been waiting for them to discover the hairline fracture of the hamate bone all week.
  16. Why are we discussing games that happened on April 5th?
  17. My mother once told me an maxim about a broken record....I'm not sure why I remembered that just nbow.
