    It doesn't create extra jobs, but it does create higher paying jobs as hitters make the dough. On the other hand, it could be negotiated away, but I think it would be in exchange for a 26th roster spot which would create 30 more jobs at the major league level as well as make players get to arbitration and free agency faster. It could be bargained away, but the owners likely wouldn't want to pay the cost to make it happen.

    With Hafner's struggles, LaPorta or Gamel would likely be appealing to the Indians.

    That's a good question, but my understanding is that the pitcher has to choose first, and then the batter chooses. I could be wrong, but that's my understanding. Either way, this pitcher if he could be effective from both sides would be Bobby Cox's wet dream.

    The video clip is hilarious, but it appears the umpires didn't make the right ruling. By my understanding, the pitcher has to declare first which arm he's going to pitch with.

    This is a strong possibility. All that crystal meth eventually takes its toll. [-X I will confidently say not all White Sox fans are idiots. Not that anyone's really taking things seriously at all. Mine was said with tongue firmly planted in cheek. But I do think there must be a maximum IQ at WSI. If you go over it, you are banned or just not allowed to post.

    I'm just now getting around to doing that, and boy am I glad I did! :yahoo: they really like the idea of using someone other than thome to sac the runner to third in the 9th. wow I kinda liked the guy who complained that they lost their biggest game of the year.
